How is this happening ? According to a few on here a couple of months back this Saints squad Is far weaker now. Apparently Vestergaard was class and was going to be hugely missed and Armstrong is a huge risk and we bought a couple of unknown kids from Chelsea and a unknown from Everton .
The real truth as I said before was Vestergaard had a spell of about ten games last season when he played ok but apart from that he was poor. Salisu is twice the player Vestergaard is . Ings is quality no doubt but is injured once again and was replaced by two strikers . One scored for fun at Blackburn (28 in a season) so is obviously hugely talented and the other scored 10 goals in a season on loan at Arnhem and scores regularly for Albania. It was also obvious that these unknown kids were hugely talented and respected at their clubs but they wanted to play regular football for Saints. Maybe the posters should have done a little more research .ðŸ˜
We have a wonder kid from Chelsea Tino who their fans rate very highly and another kid Thierry Small who is featuring regularly for the B team and scoring goals. Simeu is also playing well for the B team and scoring goals.
The whole club is slowly being turned around, all the teams are now winning . Fair play to the recruitment team .

You're right. I did have a few doubts about losing Ings and not investing in the team sufficiently but never ever lost faith with Ralph. He goes to the B team games, you can hear his voice in the background when they show the goals! He gets involved with the whole club planning and is a massive part in turning things around. Matt Crocker has also come back and has clearly helped to find some gems for a modest price. Things are looking up with Adams, Armstrong, Salisu, Livramento and co, so full credit for Saints, Ralph and all those who have created a decent side on a shoe strong budget.

Yes it’s great to see.
The under 18’s beat Villa 6-3 today and the Under 23’s slaughtered Newcastle 5-0. Small scored again and Simeu scored .
