Who will be watching? First one kicks off in 24 hours time.
The Democrats have pulled Joe back from his campaign trail recently to get him prepared, so hopefully it will be a decent exchange.
Unfortunately they don’t seem to have great confidence as they have spent the last month looking for any dirt they can dig up so Joe can use if he gets stuck.
It’s no coincidence that this vote influencing Facebook algorithm story is being shamelessly and inaccurately made into a race issue on the eve of the debates. So transparent and disingenuous, it’s a shame politics has come to this on this level where black people are being used in this way to score political points. I would be furious if I was them, but it does seem a lot of people are not falling for this one and calling it out for what it is.
People finally seem to be getting wise to this political race baiting which is refreshing to see.
It’s also telling that in the week of the debate they try and paint Trump as a tax evasion offender. I think that’s what they wanted the tax returns to show, they seem to have got annoyed when it turns out his tax returns were fine in accordance to what his companies profits were - but decided to run with it anyway. Any news is good news in their mind as it’s another thing Joe can use when in a tricky spot.
But I hope the discussions remain political and doesn’t turn into some form of gossip peddling reality TV episode.
Although I think there should be some kind of drinking game involved if it does turn that way, how many times Biden completely loses his thread of thought and blurts out “I mean, think about it...” you have to take a shot. 
I will be watching with great interest anyway.

I absolutely can. Democrats have the house too, that’s the point.
It’s not a guess they have been asked a direct question on this many times and they will not answer. Not answering a question such as that is all the answer you need. Democrats have been open in their wishes to lower the age of voting to 16. As for adding States, I would be willing to bet a vast sum of money that within the next 4-8 years we will get at least one Democrat stronghold state added with its own electoral college number.
Trump for all his personal flaws was/is one of the most successful presidents in modern history. There just is no getting away from that. Look how close this race is, and that is with the MSM, Social Media spending billions on false narratives and bullying people by calling them racist and bigots. They only way they were able to stop him getting a second term was to change the rules to Universal mail in voting.
The people really have spoken and rejected all those nonsense claims. It’s clear it has had an effect though, Trumps numbers are up in almost every racial demographic and gender.... apart from white males. Those that are constantly called racists for supporting him, based on nothing.
America’s celebrity class, ruling class and the nation as a whole needs to take a step back and realise they are not at all in tune with the people.... at all.
As for Trump, I absolutely see where he is coming from and you should too. He was cruising the election, they decide to stop. They find huge batches of Biden only ballots. The rules were changed in these Democrat states that this could happen (no signature required and no time stamp).
I always said this mail in ballot was a horrific idea and it’s proving so, as there is little trust in it. Especially when batches are found in the dead of night that are 100% for one candidate. It may be legitimate but it sounds horrific doesn’t it. [Post edited 4 Nov 2020 22:21]

I didn’t say it would become a socialist state, but they are implementing socialist ideals. Some tax rates will be 65%. Its lunacy.
Feel my pain? Sweating cobs? This election has no affect on me in the slightest, in fact a Biden win stands the area of my business to benefit by some $13m.
I have conceded Biden has won this election long ago and went into it stating he was slight favourite (against all polls stating he was between 89% and 97% favourite) - I was proven correct. My political views are simply from a humanitarian point of view, nothing more. If you put Trumps policies up against Harris’ (deliberately didn’t say Bidens) then they are chalk and cheese and Trumps is clearly better.
What I haven’t fallen for, which many have, is the media portrayal of both, meaning I have been able to state my views clearly and concisely on every single topic, much to the annoyance of several people who think a soundbite would suffice in response.
You have been mistaken ever since your quest on here began, regarding politics as a whole and my own beliefs and political desires. You aren’t the only one so you are in fine company. | |

No idea, been tossing that up for a while. For a personal point of view I would have wanted Trump to win and from a professional point of view we needed a Biden win.
So depends on what environment I was in at the time when I was asked.

Universal mail in voting and a 4 year media and social media campaign with a nationwide bullying campaign against anyone that supports him. The fact it’s as close as it is, is a damning indictment on what the other side represents. Without that I don’t see how it’s close.
