Jason Lytle stayed with you ?
What did you do on the Sumday tour for them Ebo?
And thanks for the Malojian tip. I've just quickly played some of their stuff for a few minutes on Spotify and they are very interesting, thanks.
Somebody on here put me on to Drugstore (maybe you?) and I've ended up getting all their albums since then. Also, some years ago, a random music post on CCMB of all places introduced me to Marissa Nadler and she is great , in a chilled miserablist kind of way.
I was on the merch team on the Sumday Tour and yeah Jason stayed at mine with Stevie (Malojian). They stayed in Caernarfon the night before and in the morning Jason ran up and down Snowdon in 3hours 20mins. They drove down to Storey Arms where I met them and they followed me down to Pentyrch. After they followed me up to mine in Aberdare and stayed there before we left for Nottingham the next day.
Pentyrch gig was great. baby grand piano, lovely venue and Gruff, Cian (SFA) and Kliph from the Flaming Lips came. It was through Cian I found the venue for Jason and hopefully we will be bringing Malojian back there next year to tour the album he recorded with Jason.

Propaganda - A Secret Wish, one of the best albums of the 80's, and after waiting nearly 35 years saw them live last year in Bournemouth O2 supporting Heaven 17 (who were also excellent)

I'm not being funny, but housing your favourite pub singer isn't particularly impressive is it. Most struggling musicians will happily save on hotel costs etc. as long as you're not a total fanboy about it 🤷â€â™‚ï¸
Oh ye...
Iron Maiden - Brave New World Megadeth - Rust in Peace Wolfsbane - Wolfsbane Saves the World Blaze Bayley - Soundtracks of My Life Bruce Dickinson - Accident of Birth Dr Hook - Completely Hooked Beach Boys - Best of Meatloaf - Bat Out of Hell Diana Ross - Greatest Hits Stereophonics - Decade in the Sun
Maybe I'd sneak a Bryn Terfel album with me for when I'm feeling homesick, too

Pub singer - dear god..... He's sold millions more than your favourite Blaze whatsisname. Stop being a bellend, you are slowly turning into a nasty person.
He did a very small but busy tour playing some smaller venues then he normally plays. The only requirement was that the venue provided a piano. He needed to get out and play some music after a personal tragedy 3 years ago. It sold out and introduced to many people a guy who he just finished an album with.
Fanboy? Nah - an old friend in fact.
As for your list - I'd sooner jump in with the sharks. 'Best of the Beach Boys' - FFS take Pet Sounds or Smile instead - you'll thank me later.
What kind of loser goes back hours later to edit a post when a new insult pops into their head? My post must've stung
I couldn't give damn what anyone likes, it's all subjective, nobodies right or wrong. I just wanted to see if you'd get your little fangirl knickers in a twist again. Accomplished.
As for Beach Boys best of, I chose that for a very specific reason - not that I should justify sh*t to a muso wÄnker like you though

Forcing myself to pick 10 different artists, for variety:
1. The Cars - The Cars 2. Rush - Moving Pictures 3. The Who - Who's Next 4. Led Zepellin - Houses of the Holy 5. Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream 6. Radiohead - The Bends 7. System of a Down - Mezmerize 8. Split Enz - Time and Tide 9. Squeeze - East Side Story 10. (Swansea's own) Badfinger - Straight Up
Remember going to a Cars concert in Sussex Uni in the late seventies. There were only about 50 people there.

It's such a shame you've turned out to be a nasty opinionated tosser James, really. I can see why she buggered off. Ouch.

Why who buggered off, John? Seems you have your wires crossed somewhere, but nonetheless you're trying to take this into very personal territory here, the kind where someone less level headed than myself may look to cave your fücking skull in the next time they bumped into you. Be thankful I'm a lover not a fighter, you snivelling piece of shït
