Can't see past Toshack. He'll try play the right football. You could say he deserves it. But he's an unknown quantity at this level or any senior level.

Sadly, the only consideration for the board will be the price.

It does make you think what the exit plan is for these Yanks.

More than that, if Yanks strategy is sell anything that moves, don't spend, use kids then it makes sense on one level for those who've developed the youths to manage them in first team.

young Toshack would make a lot of sense as already knows the club and wouldnt cost any compensation.
Outside shout Ryan lowe from Bury, young manager, got Bury promoted playing decent football on a very tight budgt.

I really don't know what to say. There is so much work to do on the contract side of things , getting rid of players, that I think the job is too big for Toshack.

That said, we brought Potter in with a fanfare of a new recruitment structure and then promptly shafted him.

If the club was steady , with a good director of football, I'd give Toshack a go.

I think we have to roll the dice again on a new manager with a solid team of assistants behind him, keep us up and then hopefully, this time next year we'll be in a far stronger position.

That’s why it’s particularly gutting that he’s gone so early. He, and his team were a long term plan. A now we are back to square one!

Any way u look at it, it’s a significant setback. But we shall fight on, as always.

They haven't sold anything of value that didn't insist on leaving!

F it, Guidolin.

Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws.

Personally, I'd be interested in us talking to Darran Moore. He almost kept West Brom in the Premier League and his sacking was harsh.

No disrespect to anyone here but the opinion I really value would be Potter's. I hope he provides the chairman with a 4 name shortlist as part of his exit process.

Lads the fact they are rubbing they hands at the compo for potter means whoever comes in will be so underwhelming..it will not be ambitious as it's about getting as much Dosh in before they let us go for a pound.

Osian Roberts could be a wildcard option. Also there’s a bloke called Warren looking for managerial work in the new year.

Closer to home would rather see Toshack get the opportunity than most of the usual pretenders for a Championship gig.

Warren would P everyone off mun, he doesn’t stop talking. That’s why he’s called Warren. Rabbit rabbit rabbit all day long.

Would be a disaster.

No managerial experience, no playing experience.

Total gamble.

Strange I forgot about him.

When he left Wrexham I did post a future Swans manager.

Too early for him but who knows?
