FFL's Derby 20:12 - May 15 with 10492 viewsflynnbo

Was that our old friend, Mr Keogh, who missed that ball for the first goal?

I'm torn on this one:

* Both clubs have ignored FFP
*John Terry is a massive cu nt
*People tell me Lampard isn't, but he was always best mates with Terry, so I'll judge him on that and the fact that he was always a mouthy cu nt when we played Chelsea
*Villa were a middling side in the Premier League in every respect, but getting relegated has bizarrely convinced large sections of their support that they're actually one of the biggest clubs on the planet. And they feel the need to keep telling everyone about their newly discovered massiveness. Weird.
*Derby 1983 and the final day of the season at the Baseball Ground
*Dean Smith is a bit of a whiney tw at
*I've never seen him kick a ball, but I'm sure I'll learn to really dislike Mason Mount; partly because he's Chelsea, partly because he sounds like something you'd find in a Builders Merchants and partly because in my head, his name's the wrong way round and he should be a big mountain in Utah or somewhere. Whatever, the reason, fu ck him and winning at Wembley

On the other side:

* I know lots of Villa fans through my wife and they're all lovely people and your usual self-deprecating Midlanders when it comes to Villa.
* I know 3 Derby fans - all of whom are lovely blokes
* I watched the 2nd leg of our play-off against Derby with a random Derby fan who was stuck in Bristol on business. He was a top bloke and very gracious in defeat - I'd be happy for him if they went up
* Richard Keogh - judging from his default look of shock and terror, I think the poor sod's been through enough. Would be nice to see him score the winner at Wembley

Verdict: Given that John Terry is the biggest cu nt going, it has to be Derby. Sorry.

Fulham FC: It's the taking part that counts

Can’t really disagree with your verdict Konk. Suspect Derby will struggle if the go up so Lampard could be out on his ear by November with them rooted to the bottom of the table.

So the Racist doesn’t go up and Lumparse gets the sack as the media narrative around him being a brilliant manager collapses. Win win!

Very nicely summed up Konk.

Essentially the presence of Captain, Racist, Wnker supercedes everything else.

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

Brilliant summing up Konk

I have come to the conclusion I want Derby. Based on the playoffs so far that means Villa are certain to win.

Derby will win it. That's always been the plan.

of the 4 in the p/offs, the one is dislike the most is wba, they are out.....villa have the john terry factor, so I really don't want them to get rich...but derby have fat frank and cashley cole!!!!! both treat ffp with contempt , but so did we! villa are not likeable, derby just edge it for me.

"You can't sell the ground to yourself twice".

Nope, but what is stopping their owner selling it back to them for £1 then buying it back for another £80m? Also, that £40m will probably buy them at least next season and probably the one after that for FFP.

Unless the Incompetent Football League (IFL) punish them for flagrantly cheating the intent of the rules in the first place, they can do nothing to stop continuous buy - sell - buy - sell.

As I said in the other thread, the only possible reason to want Villa to win is the fact that we do not want another team coming back into our cess pit with the parachute money that skews the financial playing field hugely in the favour in those teams who have eaten crumbs from one season in the Prem.

It is the worst possible Play off final...

Don't worry about that, our chums at the league are on it like a car bonnet...

Love those posts Clive . Agree with every word. Seeing Leeds self combust is a great joy / schadenfreude Fugk em and everything about them . Lots to dislike about FLDC ( not least the FL part) but Villa are a league above in terms of reasons to hate them (BRJ clearly #1 by a distance but that whingebag Smith is another) . And am I alone in feeling Keogh deserves his moment of glory? He takes a lot of stick but seems a decent bloke and he needs to exorcise the OBZ moment.

"And am I alone in feeling Keogh deserves his moment of glory?"

I may be blissfully unaware of some horrific misdemeanours or character flaws - like lining his dog's basket with a La La Ledesma commemorative T-shirt - but I feel the same as you. He seems a whole-hearted, solid pro who tries his heart out, so I hope he gets closure on the OBZ assist thing.

Oh, and of course, "He's one of our own, he's one of our ow-ow-own...."

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

So Keogh to score the winner in the 6th minute of injury time and then runs over to the Villa bench and headbutts Big Racist John in celebration
