It must be crystal clear to everyone by now that the current and previous owners are treating the Trust and by implication the fanbase with complete contempt.

Get them into court ASAP.

Today's Trust E-mail. on 14:17 - Oct 9 by Uxbridge

The only times I ever commented "negatively" about legal action was when certain people said it was a certain win in court and it would have no adverse consequences whatsoever. The former is demonstrably incorrect. The latter is an option, but still stands. Then and now.

Saying that, none of the above rules out legal action as a viable option if it's the best or least worst.

And again here in response to Darren saying

‘You made many posts that were pushing against legal action. I don’t understand why you’re saying you didn’t. You did.’

Making false accusations about others seems to be your tactic to cover up the way you were pushing the deal on here as a number of people pointed out on this thread.

Why the fucg any of you give your money to the trust is beyond me, I used to once apon a time, right up until I realised that they are nothing but frauds like the owners. I won't put in another penny until the yanks and trust are gone. You'd be better off giving your tenners to some one homeless than the trust at least they can by some lager with it.

""Although I cannot promise or predict the future, I can guarantee one thing - the current board of directors will always fight, as we have done over the last 12 years, to work together as one with the Supporters Trust to make 100% sure that Swansea City football club remains the number one priority in all our thoughts and in every decision we make."

The tenner should be irrelevant now. Better to make it a quid and try and get everyone through the turnstile, as I’ve always said. Numbers is the key here and always has been. That’s where power and influence lies.

This. Doesn’t need to be a tenner. A pound will do, coupled with a big membership drive.

Weak. Easlily led. They are still making the same mistakes. They have failed spectacularly to achieve their aims. They now have one final opportunity to redeem themselves but the delays seem to suggest that there are problems and doubts. They were taken to the cleaners and have seemed reluctant to go and get what’s theirs. Why for example did Uxbridge waste so much of his time trying to convince members not to vote for legal action ? There’s more to that.

Having said all of that I wish them well in their legal action should it ever materialise...

Power and influence 😂 the fans and the trust are just bolted on to a giant turd forced along for the ride, there's no power or influence.

It’s quite obvious on reflection that Jenkins had them eating out of the palm of his hand. They wanted to socialise with him Morgan and others, to drink with them to be seen together. And some benefitted it seems with commercial contracts and business deals. All to the detriment of the Trust. A day out, lunch watch the game from the Directors box, take the wife along, that’ll impress her, out on the town later. With no real concept of what all of this was doing to the Trust.

As I said: weak and easily led. When they needed to be strong and keep a distance and it’s still happening now. Incredible.

That's my point really. 15,000 members makes a bigger splash.

I've pretty much convinced myself on no hard evidence that many on the Trust Board in previous incarnations preferred the status quo, and their own little self important club, as there has been no serious membership drive. The current incarnation I do accept has its hands full at present, but I do think this is something that might have been addressed more pro-actively.

Easy for me to say, of course, and I accept that criticism.

Disagree. You could have 100,000 members but if there’s poor leadership then it’s still a rudderless ship.

There were many of us on here at the time that were urging the Trust bods to make membership free, and to take out a couple of big f*ck off double page adverts in the Evening Post / Wales Online rags, detailing exactly what went on. But no, they knew best and sat on their hands, talking about improving communication (lolz) and setting up sub-groups etc. The boat sailed years ago, for fear of upsetting the status quo at the time. It is why I will never rejoin the Trust whilst certain members / posters on here are still there.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

I can see yours, Swancity and Monnys point on this.
Truthfully all 3 sadly sum up the position.
A position we as a Trust shouldn't have let develop- hindsight is brilliant isn't it!

Trouble is, all the members in the past did allow it.
We've had the Trust bs on why we shouldn't have taken legal action, on the very, very biased first vote.
Also had very biased pushing on here and in PM's towards a certain action (let it be to quote a song!)
200 odd voted for legal action.
Very probably some voted just on pure retribution, but at least they voted.
Nearly 50% if my memory serves me, couldn't even be bothered to return their vote.

Apathy.
A killer of anything, anywhere, anytime.

And yes.
I was guilty of allowing the status quo for many years.
Apathy?
Very probable.
But everything at the club since we got rid of Petty seemed to be hunky dory.

Trust should have been proactive very early on, warning the members about apathy, chasing new members, especially when many members had volunteered to try and increase the membership as people were going through the turnstiles.

Only way to change something you don't like is to do it from the inside.
Takes miracles to change things from the outside, no-one listens.
Although with our Trust, still seems no-one listens.
Certainly the communication doesn't seem to have improved.

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

Five board me members have ‘communication’ listed as one of their responsibilities and two in particular have the combination of ‘communication’ and ‘social media’. Unfortunately this does not correlate to the volume of updates that we receive.

See for me now, it doesn't even bother me anymore, it went beyond a joke a couple of years ago. It's like the trust is like the little old Major who used to be found in the corner of many pubs, who would regale you of past glories, until he got pissed up and shat himself. Now you don't pay much attention to him anymore.

I think you're close to the Yanks' ace up their sleeve.

I think the COULD simply say "we've put £20m into the club to cover the last Jan window and losses since relegation so you have to match it, as you own 21%".

The Trust would then be forced to stump up £4.2m, which they don't have.

Without seeing the financial accounts, it would be hard to prove exactly that it's true, but I imagine that they wouldn't be allowed access to the accounts if they were forced to contribute such an amount.

There's even the possibility that they said "we're going to spend £10m in January" (which would appease many fans) so where's your £2.1m please?".

The litigation fund would disappear overnight...and that's the worst case scenario as I see it.

Didn’t realise the Yanks have put an equity injection of £20m into the club during January.
