Thought:

Hill retires the day McClaren takes over. Has he got a new job lined up? He did work with McClaren before... and would be a move to appease fans...

Bare bones.

I'm happy with this appointment. I genuinely think he is a good coach and person and we should all get behind him.

Totally agree. I have a feeling he will be good for us. Definitely need to get behind him and give him some slack and not slag him off after the first sign of trouble.

I'm still hoping it is Lee Carsley. *fingers crossed

All well and good working with the kids, but I am more interested who he's going to offload to fund the two big, ugly Centre Backs we need and a striker which isn't Chris Martin...

Can we go out yet?

Ned and Robinson off the wage bill should hopefully free up some money for the replacements we need

Winning with style?

He’s a changed man, quoted with England saying he wasn’t in the entertainment business.

The indifference is killing me

I happened to be on Facebook today and saw the club announcements and involuntarily clicked on the comment links to see what QPR FB "fans" had to say...

This isn't the first time I've had to remind myself of this: never read comments on QPR social media posts. Jesus Christ. Among other head-scratchers: People still carry on with that "Tottenham Les" nonsense?!?

McClaren comes across as a nice bloke and he seems to care about coaching and building a team on modest means. He said the right things in that interview. Not arrogant. Not a bullsh*tter. Said that he thought Ollie had done a good job stabilising. One thing worth remembering is that you cannot hold being sacked by Derby against anyone. Also it's time to re-inject some of that Dutch total football into the QPR DNA.

Have you watched much Dutch football over the last few years dude? It is truly awful

I wish him all the best .i would have stuck with Holloway but whats done is done .
He wouldnt be my choice , but if he sits in our dugout he deserves a chance .

And didn't he say on the podcast that he's had contact from a club, or did I imagine that? Wouldn't be surprised to see him back in some capacity, especially given Ned's and Mackie's exits.

Well, let's hope you give him as much time, patience and understanding as you did with Ollie and not stoop to the level of those you are talking about, eh?

Bare bones.

I am awaiting to see what sort of a hat he wears before making my mind up.

I'm hoping for some sort of Norse God winged helmet.

No, I haven't. I imagine it's pretty dire. I was thinking more historically........ our last manager who had plied his trade over there....... anyway, yeah, no doubt you're right. Dooooomed, we're all doooomed.

‘morbid curiosity about where this is all going’

If we are in the bottom 3 in October LR will turn toxic , TF will be getting pelters and he will be gone .
I also think if we are going well but he gets the chance of a Prem job he will.leave ...
