Club confirm Spurs vs Rochdale is Weds 28th February (7.45pm KO) on 19:28 - Feb 20 by dingdangblue | It's not just a midweek game in London though - it's Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup at Wembley - very unique and never going to EVER happen again. |
But there will still be a large number of people who can't get there because of work commitments regardless of how unique it is.
| When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf? |

Perhaps the club should look at staying open until late for purchase of tickets from day 1
Club confirm Spurs vs Rochdale is Weds 28th February (7.45pm KO) on 20:33 - Feb 20 with 3151 views | DaleiLama | Can tickets be sold in the £10 or £15 section, but remain unallocated to a seat in each section? In that case, I think anyone who bought tickets at any time would be able to sit with who they want in a particular section regardless of when bought, subject to availability of course. As capacity is unlikely to be exceeded, wouldn't that fix it? Or did I miss something?

I'm meaning people who can't get to Wembley.

It will be allocated seating I'm afraid. Imagine if all the tickets went and it was a free for all seating wise - it would be mayhem. It was ok in the playoffs because there were so many empty seats you could virtually sit where you wanted.

I suppose it also depends on if the club do a deal regarding coaches too? That would certainly pursuade a few more to travel. [Post edited 20 Feb 2018 21:01]

Aye, but some people might need HS2 to be built in a week.

Club confirm Spurs vs Rochdale is Weds 28th February (7.45pm KO) on 21:11 - Feb 20 with 2987 views | Huddersdale1 | Is there likely to be a restriction per person when the tickets go on open sale? Current total number of requests I have received from family and friends living in the midlands and down south is 14! I am a ST but will probably wait for the open sale to keep trips over the tops to just the one, in addition to tomorrow night's game.

I'd guess you'll struggle to buy 14 in one go, I need a few though so in exactly the same boat, just hope the club do things sensibly but fairly at the same time

That's me - my job is 100% inflexible and if I pulled a sickie everyone would know where I had gone! There seem to be quite a lot of people on here who either don't work or can have days off on demand (I'm only jealous... )

When I went on the tour in November we ended up in TGI's beforehand, not sure that is suitable for larger numbers.

Think a spurs fan on another thread mentioned the green man at Wembley was the official designated away pub. Being a London based supporter I’ll probably be having pre match beers in Baker Street area then jubilee line up to Wembley Park or train from marylebone

Last time we were at Wembley for the play offs the club out sourced ticket sales to ticketmaster but Stockport sold though their own channels. Be interesting to see what method is used this time now we have our own online ticketing. Being a London based supporter I’m hoping there’ll be a buy online and print your own ticket option but without the rip off admin/booking fee that ticketmaster charge. If the allocation is over 7k as Newport had I’m sure everyone that wants to go will be able to. Selling 2k will be a good effort for a midweek daaarn sarf

Do you have an EE mobi or know someone who does? You can watch it on there apparently. Sure there'll be plenty of streaming links posted on the night too. [Post edited 21 Feb 2018 8:07]

Club confirm Spurs vs Rochdale is Weds 28th February (7.45pm KO) on 23:52 - Feb 20 with 2556 views | Scunnydale | I hope those who are suggesting anyone who wants a ticket will get one are right. I've just booked two days off work (no chance of getting back home) and booked train travel/hotel. It's incredibly rare for me to be able to get weekday holidays (apart from whole-week annual leave). Working most Saturdays and all late midweeks, it's quite hard for me to get to specific games anymore. Either way, I figure the worst-case scenario is I'll be able to watch the match in a pub in London!
