Carwyn's coming to Gorseinon on 10:41 - Feb 15 by Swanzay | A response regarding questions:- Thank you very much for your question to the First Minister. To explain the format of the event tomorrow evening, the host of the evening will choose the questions that the First Minister will answer and their order. If by any chance there are more questions than time to answer them and there is not an opportunity for you to ask your question, you would receive a written response from the First Minister. Best wishes Non Non Jones Tim Cyfathrebu’r Cabinet/ Cabinet Communications team Adran Cyfathrebu/ Communications Division Llywodraeth Cymru/ Welsh Government Ffon/ Tel: 029 2082 3942 Ebost/ email: non.jones@wales.gsi.gov.uk |
The host of the evening will choose the questions. I wonder who said host will be. Interesting. All seems a bit rushed as well. My Labour Party email only arrived two days before the event. First I heard of it was when it was posted on here.

Carwyn's coming to Gorseinon on 09:53 - Feb 15 by Cooperman | Cagey? Not really. Encouraged? Not really. I hadn't long arrived back in the country after a long haul flight so after some mild pleasantries we spoke about how Cardiff Airport could become another gateway to Europe if marketed and structured correctly, but also referenced the fact that to get there you had to queue in Newport and pay £6.60 to cross the Severn (assuming you were heading or were from the East of CWL). I couldn't fly via Amsterdam and Cardiff because of the extortionate landing fees which impacted on ticket price; instead I had to use Heathrow. |
Thanks for the heads up. Was only joking about the cagey bit. You are far more active than me and my 'all mouth and trousers' stance ;-) [Post edited 15 Feb 2017 14:13]

Why are Labour party members working with UKIP going against the Labour party policy of increasing the amount of Welsh speakers and will they be disciplined ? If you could try and get that question asked it would be appreciated, smile. [Post edited 15 Feb 2017 15:04]

Carwyn's coming to Gorseinon on 17:13 - Feb 19 with 1090 views | Swanzay | The event was chaired by the editor of the Evening Post. Regarding the tidal lagoon, just spoke about benefits to local economy and job opportunities which would be as local as possible. Dismissed concerns regarding environmental impact, insisting the technology is there. Then quite alot of time spent on Llangennech school and more personal issues. Question about worse NHS waiting times in Wales in comparison to England. Replied with there are now more Dr positions in Wales than ever, but said more needs to be done. Question about Llanelli DWP closing and jobs being centralised to Cardiff. Was vehemently against the change but said WAG were powerless as it is a Westminster decision, but will keep being vocal about it and fully realises the how the loss of jobs will impact Llanelli etc. Denied that Cardiff had more investment than the rest of Wales (Only 4 AMs apparently live in Cardiff), saying that Swansea had investment with the new University development and the City Centre development will go ahead, but couldn't guarantee in what form. Said that after the war, Swansea was rebuilt with little thought and was rushed due to the devastation. Went on to say that out of town developments like Fforestfach didn't do the City centre any favours. Hoped that would change when the new development starts, so that the centre is more in harmony with the out of town sites. Then questions on education and concerns that LEA's across Wales were not synchronised with each other, cherry picking to suit their own agenda. Question about Gorseinon itself, saying that other rural areas had WAG investment, where as Gorseinon had nothing, basically replied with Gorseinon was doing well, only issue was the school development. No, apparently its in a Plaid constituency and they are using it for their own agenda, that was the view of the questioner, not CJs.

It makes no difference what constituency Llangennech is in, if Labour people are working with UKIP [and posting EDL material] against Welsh Labour Government policy then surely Labour need to act against those members. Anyway as a point of order Llangennech is in the Llanelli constituency whch has a Labour mp and not a Plaid one. [Post edited 19 Feb 2017 18:44]

DWP is another example of how Public Sector jobs are being centralised in a regional capital. I wonder if he is being vocal about it? Did DWP insist the centralisation had to be in Cardiff? More like they just wanted centralisation. Same as HMRC when Carwyn actually went to Westminster with the Leader of Cardiff council touting a site for all the jobs lost to the rest of Wales as a result of centralisation. In England they are looking to redress the balance. In Wales we do the opposite and actually promote the centralisation in the SE. We have the University. They still claim kudos for that and then the damned lie that Cardiff gets no more than The rest of Wales. 4 AMs living in Cardiff. What has that got to do with representing their constituencies? Great work mate and thanks again as cofirmed in my PM. It is bloody depressing though and until we wake up and get these charlatans out of power, get in politicians who want to develope and govern the whole are Wales, we are fooked. Amused that Plaid supporters seem so obsessed with an allegation of a Labour member colluding with UKIP over a school that nobody's heard of. 1. It's already been condemned. 2. Being a member of a political party doesn't mean that you are a representative of the party, it just means that you pat some money every month and deliver some leaflets every now and then. 4. Who cares aside from Plaid supporters? Answer - nobody.

Who in Labour has condemned it ? Looking to stand for and represent Labour on the Council in the upcoming elections is a bit more than just been a party member.

"Ms Beddows has been administratively suspended from the Labour party while an investigation takes place." Pretty self-explanatory. Haven't seen anything about this member standing for election either. We're talking about a freaking tiny school that nobody has heard of and a local election in an area that barely anyone lives in. It's all a little desperate isn't it.

Nobody in Labour has condemned Beddows, they might reinstate her, I doubt it but they might, they cant condemn somebody that has been suspended pending investigation can they until after the investigation. So nobody in Labour has condemned it yet you say they have, no wonder you cant prove it. lol As regards standing for election read the piece in the following link [just above the Leanne Wood video]:- https://ygwladgarwr.wordpress.com/2017/02/17/michaela-beddows-llangennech-labour Labour are traitors to the working class and poor and Labour are so right wing those of us on the centre left need binoculars to seem.

He fancies himself as a bit of a tennis player Wingstandwood as old as I am I bet I would still give him a run for his money even with him being a young Welsh international whippersnapper [perhaps I would need 30-0 start a game and six months training, lol], I won many a game down Ashleigh Road against the posh jacks back in the day. They talk a good game down there with all their coaches and a playing surface that others hardly ever played on [is it still red ash ?], but they always seemed lacking in the tactical department to me [eg not much upstairs].
