Technically that is correct. A season ticket holder will be allocated a specific seat, although as you say, apart from all ticket games you are not forced to sit there. No idea why you wouldn't though.
It appeared that near me a number of new reserved stickers had been but on seats. Not sure when the poster who encountered a problem bought their ticket. Maybe it was after the last lot of stickers had been affixed? Or maybe it was just missed off, or even pulled off!
I can see why someone who does not have a season ticket who has sat in the same seat all season might be a bit annoyed but if they were that bothered they should have taken up the half season ticket offer. |  | | |

I felt sorry for the chap having to move just before kick off when the Main stand was pretty full. Also got the impression he might have been a newbie which if it had happened to me, would,nt exactly have enamoured me with the club experience. Hopefully it will be sorted by the 21st.
I feel almost guilty at having a gripe, in view of what is being served on the pitch at the moment, but also in this day and age people expect better service from the catering behind the Main stand. Fast it aint. UTD | | | |

Me too - young lad with 3 of his mates stood in front of my seat. Asked him to move as he was in my place and he quite rightly claimed 'it hasn't got a reserved sticker on it' so I showed him my ST Book which confirmed it was my seat. He still didn't move so I just pulled the seat down and sat on it whilst nudging him aside. Wouldn't normally be so arsey about sitting in a particular seat as usually there are plenty of spare ones but that wasn't the case last night so I didn't want to cause further problems by sitting in someone else's seat.
Come on Dale - Get it sorted - you've got 3 weeks now to get some reserved stickers put on the new ST holders' seats! |  |

I too saw several people being "evicted" from their unmarked seats yesterday and given the mainstand was almost full it will have left a bitter taste for the newbies that we being asked to move
Given what is happening on the pitch it is hard to complain about off field activity. But the catering in the mainstand is awful. Apart from the lady that normally manages the middle till, the rest aren't usually up for it. No idea what they are doing, mis-charging, slow etc. On Boxing Day it took me 25 minutes to get served. Missed part of the game as a result. It was a freezing cold day and people wanted hot drinks and there were at least 100 people queuing behind me that didn't get served. Many were newbies and they won't have enjoyed that shite experience. When we have pre-sold the tickets well in advance of the day why was it such a shambles. They knew how many people would be there. We lost money,,,,,,but also goodwill. | | | |

With the changes behind the scenes I definitely think that feedback on here helps around situations like this. We've seen massive changes in approach to the pricing and with this forum being the single biggest representation of collective supporter opinion, there's little doubt it plays a part. From that and the £100 offer there will be teething problems that, when noted, can be addressed.
Staffing is definitely something that can be looked at, the food bars have already been mentioned but with an extra couple of bar staff on in the Ratcliffe/Dale Bar, we'll start taking more money too. It was great to see how busy it was in there last night, but we don't want people giving up on waiting when the queues are too big. |  |

It certainly should apply to everyone, but such is not the case. A couple that we always sit with purchased their half STs at about the same time as my partner and I soon after they were on sale.
Within a few days a RESERVED sticker had appeared on the other couple's seats but nothing on ours. In the end we went into the office about three weeks ago to prevent exactly the sort of situation being described. The stickers were on by the next home match.

I got mine a few weeks ago, if the stand wasn't so full it wouldn't be an issue! On Boxing Day , came back at half time and people had moved into the seat I had in first half, so ended up on front row. That's why I insisted on claiming my seat | |
