Didn't Derby once get some geezer from Hartlepool?

I had a beer with him when I was a student, well I say had a beer with him, I drunkenly approached him on a night out and bored him for 5 minutes but he seemed a nice bloke

Let's hope he's a great motivator and/or monitorer.

I've got the Power.

No, but he did write the James Bond books.

As he used to play RB hopefully he can teach Perch how to close down a winger, the goal we conceded vs Derby was due to Perch only bothering to jog out to block the cross

Dr. No (more clap for you sir!) is a particularly good read.

Best of luck to him, and welcome aboard.

I've watched it again & I think you're right, whoever it was it was sloppy & lazy defending. Letting the winger get his cross in is one of my pet hates, so often I see it now where the full-back stands off & allows them time to pick out a cross, adds more weight to the argument that we should play with proper wingers and sling in crosses to Polter & Sylla.

to be fair he was perpetual motion last night - he was entitled to think that someone else might be helping to cover that area of the pitch!

Bare bones.
