Can we get a protest going? 22:04 - Oct 31 with 16260 viewsCopperJack

Happy clappers look away.

Let's be honest, the board have entirely sold out and that will be their legacy. Living in their little bubble, I bet them, nor the Americans give a crap what us ordinary fans think. So, to let them know, we need a Petty-like reaction. They need to know what they've done to our club. Betrayal doesn't even cover it. Songs/chants/walkouts/pre match action etc, needs to be done. No point in April when we're already relegated

We need to bring things to a head and make it unpleasant forvthosecwho are killing our club

We need venom, anger, really toxic and players need to react ,as does our manager.

I'm hoping enough care but I won't hold my breath . If we could redirect the hate on here ,the atmosphere would be something

Unfortunately the fans who REALLY CARE and are IN THE KNOW about how our Club has been raped by the Sellouts are in the MINORITY these days with the plastic, newbie, happy clapping MAJORITY who attend Premier League football and who don't really 'support the Swans' are oblivious to it all.....
They will be the first ones to phuk off when we get relegated and they can't see their footballing idols every week (not talking about the Swans players here either!) and the people to pick up the pieces as usual will be the hardcore fans who have seen it all and been there through thick and thin.

But I guess that's what modern day football is all about sadly ...it has been ruined by money and greed by players, agents and owners alike.

The sight of Jenkins & Morgan in the Directors Box for our games makes my blood boil ....

They BOTH sold us out and are going through Divorce proceedings (just like myself but I cannot say any more or I may implicate myself !!)

Two slimey Kunts ; Jenkins would have filed for bankruptcy before now if it weren't for Morgan who has bailed him out many a time ....

Yet he is effectively our DoF, Chief Executive or whatever the hell you wish to call him and he is salaried at £500k pa 😳😳😳 in South West Wales ??? Hell of a job that !!!

We are, indeed, all MUGS, and he is taking the PISS BIG TIME ....

Stability is our only chance, didn't the trust say they were meeting Levien when he's over next? Think he should get over pronto

The trust are just a bunch of gutless bastards why didn't they take action when they had the chance to nail Hews ass to the mast, the problem with the trust is that they are no more than the tail of the dog the board told them when to wag it nothing has change ether way you look at it.

There's so much money now in modern football that the scruples and principles of yesterday are laughed at in today's game....money has spoilt the game big time ...

I know of some tart who has slept with 2 MAJOR football personalities we ALL KNOW in the past 2 years who are/were both married but it seems that simply doesn't matter any more in life ????

Unlike Cardiff but like Swansea.
We had our day, we took our club back.
We have reaped the rewards, now it's time to accept that those days of scrapping for the city are gone, but at least we fought and won, Cardiff Just accepted their fate.
And let's be honest, they won nothing, we at least won premier league status, European memories and a major trophy.
They still celebrate a trophy no one else alive can recall.
I know who I am, no battle is lost until the end, this is October, hit the pitch with hatred when all is lost.
Until then, stand strong, stand proud.
And grow a pair when you are needed.
The spirit of 2001 may well be dead but at least most of us in living memory can remember what we did and what we achieved.
Wales number one club is strong.
Once the happy clappers are gone we will take back our club.

The best "Jenkins Out" banner at the Huddersfield game wins a prize

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Sorry guys, but we're in the vast minority on here.

I posted on the Trust Facebook page last week that we should be handing out leaflets at turnstiles, hold up cards for MOTD cameras, etc., and in the main I took a load of shit over it, with very few supporting me. I'd say almost all the people giving me shit have been fans since 7 years ago (Jenkins is doing a great job, look wher the club was 10 years ago, etc. Plastics with no clue)

I just went to check out my post now to provide a link, and it's been taken down!

So thank you the Trust for your backing of the fans. And just to let you know, your censorship dept is on the ball.

Very disappointed by the Trust reaction. Makes you wonder what motivates such an action. I would love to know who pressed the button to take your post down.
As for the fans I am not a bit surprised. Look at what they are being fed? Jenkins is untouched by the Cardiff media. They would much rather revel in our misfortune.

In all the years I've supported Swansea City F.C the majority of it has been in the lower leagues when we were all one.We had real fans a crap ground and big dreams, new fans appeared, a new ground came and so did the the big dreams, but one thing I didn't expect was the ugliness in some of the people associated Swansea City F.C
Money brings out the evil in people, sad but true!

Even if we did start slipping back down we would never get back that togetherness we once had

Yep the intimacy, closeness, sense of belonging and bond between club and supporter(s) has gone! A case of not being yours, mine and our club anymore but someone else’s i.e. a bunch of greedy freeloading scumbags. Goodbye to what all that went before, that has been either dragged into the gutter or has been ruthlessly destroyed hey!

Mick Jones of The Clash had the same attitude towards those exploitative big-business-model run stadium bands. He said they that treat their own fans like sh*t, saying........ They plonk you in the middle of a field somewhere with sole intent just to take your money, for you to then leave feeling completely empty.

Everybody needs to stop being a member of the trust it's that simple, why throw away your money.

""Although I cannot promise or predict the future, I can guarantee one thing - the current board of directors will always fight, as we have done over the last 12 years, to work together as one with the Supporters Trust to make 100% sure that Swansea City football club remains the number one priority in all our thoughts and in every decision we make."

I've said it a few times that Jenkins has got a grip on the trust what he's got god knows but after the Cooze debacle anything is possible. I've got the feeling that he tells the trust what to do and when to do it, hence the silence from the people supposedly representing the fans.

As for your Facebook post that doesn't surprise there's some absolute clueless dimwits on there that's why I removed myself from the group every post irritated me.

I don't get involved with that Group much these days and leave the admin side up to the moderators, but I suspect your post explains why the thread may have been removed - threads that get out of hand (in your own words) would get removed. Any posts calling for protests won't get taken down for that reason - and many haven't in the past which have been far more critical of the Trust.

And for the record, I've got no issue with anyone who thinks protesting is the way to go.

Can I ask you ( trust ) a question please?

Why do you appear to want to nothing or almost nothing ? Serious things have happened. It appears that the Trust want to sweep it all under the carpet. They were treated with complete contempt by you know who. Treated like twopenny rabbits and yet the Trust response has been subdued. It needed to show balls. It didn't? Something is amiss....

Why do you appear to show no courage or back bone. Not you the Trust. Sorry it's not personal it's just my view on things. Thanks.

It should have happened at the beginning of last season, before they all got comfortable under their blankets, many including myself were more than willing to hand leaflets out, they exact story needed to be told, but there seemed to be little stomach from the trust in doing so, were senior members to cosy to the sellouts is the question myself and many others were thinking, we know one was, but were there are there others.

I don't mean Phil or yourself just to be clear, I used to see Phil by the Trusts outlet most home games in his fleecy leggings and Jacket, so he wasn't up there in the vice chairmans lounge.

Of course there are others there's no other explanation for the lack of action against Jenkins and his cronies. Fact is he breached the shareholders agreement.
Shareholders agreements are there to protect ALL SHAREHOLDERS if what's gone on is now seen as legal then some big companies are in for a fall.
