Yeah, same. Especially as we don't even have much to play for. Even though I thought Boro are far more the finished article, we can feel pretty hard done by to have not got a point from that

The smoggie Match Thread. on 21:44 - Apr 1 with 2567 views | CHUBBS | Reasonable performance against a decent side but our defence was abysmal,Boro deserved to win but don't look any better than Villa so will struggle if they go up. Angella should not be signed unless they're giving him away.

The smoggie Match Thread. on 21:45 - Apr 1 with 2529 views | Pey | Seems we still lack some cleverness and tactic awareness, has to be adressed next season. Again like stated no real shame losing as probably only Smithies would make their first eleven tonight. [Post edited 1 Apr 2016 21:45]

The smoggie Match Thread. on 21:45 - Apr 1 with 2520 views | AndyB | They were the better team - but has to be said, all three of their goals were through awful defending. First Hall misjudgement on the bounce Second Phillips not attacking the ball even though it was in his zone - not surprising though, he did f@ck all whole match Third Onuaha totallylost his man
The smoggie Match Thread. on 21:48 - Apr 1 with 2451 views | ted_hendrix | We've had a week off from any games, so I find our defending a little disappointing even against an up for it team like Boro.

Yeah, worst part of our game tonight, defense was criminal on about eight occasions. [Post edited 1 Apr 2016 21:53]

The smoggie Match Thread. on 21:53 - Apr 1 with 2343 views | joolsyp | Enjoyed that, apart from the result obviously. Boro have set a good marker in terms of what it takes to get out of this division and I'm sure JFH will learn from that. We're not far off - with 2 or 3 quality additions in the summer (including a leader/midfield general) I think we can give top 6 a real go. One thing that did disappoint me when we were chasing the game - we just tended to lump it up to Seb and hope that Conor/Chery/Hoilett could feed off the scraps. I think we need to be cleverer than that - watch Boro when they attacked - lots of movement off the ball, clever little passes and decent crosses.
The smoggie Match Thread. on 21:55 - Apr 1 with 2303 views | Rs_Holy | More positives than negatives in that performance but Phillips is bloody infuriating... Total puff

The smoggie Match Thread. on 21:59 - Apr 1 with 2240 views | billericaydicky | Just watching the Aitor Kavanka love in on Sky. They (Sky) got what they wanted. Our defending of set pieces was awful. The linos decision was awful. At least Jimmy and the players showed some fight and it looked like it hurt them. Onwards and upwards.
The smoggie Match Thread. on 21:59 - Apr 1 with 2229 views | Toast_R | I think a few key players had bad games today. Phillips was worryingly bad but his time at QPR has been mired by spells like this. Kept leaving his full back high and dry which gave Boro quite a bit of space on the flanks. Faurlin had a shocker by his standards with missled placed passes and crosses being over hit all night, the penalty I thought was harsh really, victim of a diving tw@t under minimal contact. The defence was disjointed all evening with Hall looking shaky Stevens. Smithies just looks like the best goalkeeper I've seen at LR in years, sadly let down by his defence for all the goals tonight. The smoggie Match Thread. on 22:02 - Apr 1 with 2180 views | Discodroids | like many on here im utterly furious with the lino. Smithies was immense but fack me, watching Angella and Hall bring the ball out from the back was like watching a couple of ' Its a knockout ' oversized playing cards on a bouncy castle. All the skill of an IRA nutting squad. Amazingly i thought perch was the best of a back four that couldnt stand up to the skin on top of a tramps piss tonight. Fk it. Id rather have a Sellafields irradiated graphite carbon rod thrust up my shitbox than live In Middlesbrough. Crying out for a central midfielder . Bryson or Lansbury please JFH. The smoggie Match Thread. on 22:05 - Apr 1 with 2127 views | NW10Hoop | I wonder how much truth there was in the Phillips to Boro, Albert Adomah to QPR chat back around Christmas? Despite Matt Phillips' form being patchy (at best) this season, he's still gonna move to a bigger club isn't he. I wouldn't mind Adomah in our team.

Warburton needs a kick up the rear end. Ball was a foot / 18 inches over the line, not even close.

Just read his piece. Nowhere does he query whether Mackies shot crossed the line. He'd be stupid to as it was a couple of feet over. Saying Rangers got hinderance and help was referring to the Lino as the ref would not have been able to give it on his own. He just praised the Lino for spotting it (help) - the same Lino that thought Hoilet crossed the ball when it was out. (Hinderance)
