Britton needs a rest and I think we'll be a more balance team with only one of cork or Britton in midfield. Kingsley has got talent so hope he takes his chance, Taylor has been dreadful. Would have preferred barrow over Routledge and Gomis has the quality there.

Could be a cricket score, but few of those dropped/rested can have many complaints about it. I'd have preferred to keep LB in there instead of Ki and have Barrow start instead of Routs though.

| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Me too, although 3 games in a week for Leon is probably a bit of a stretch.

The Official Arsenal FC v Swansea City Match Thread on 18:46 - Mar 2 by dailew | Fabianski, Naughton, Amat, Williams, Kingsley Cork, Fer, Ki Routledge, Ayew Gomis Subs Nordfeldt, Rangel, Fernandez, Fulton, Barrow, Sigurdsson, Paloschi 6 changes. Bit of a second string feel about it. Still no sign of Montero. . [Post edited 2 Mar 2016 18:49]

Its gonna be a hard nights work I hope Ki doesn't get lost in it, but the outlook doesn't look great for him on his recent past, could be a painfull night is my thoughts after seeing the team, but Saturday has to be priority obviously.

The Official Arsenal FC v Swansea City Match Thread on 19:11 - Mar 2 with 2841 views | Griffting | Feels a lot like the time when we played them at home last season. Bartley, Tom Carroll, emnes all started and I worried. Beat them 2-1 that night. Be nice for a bit of the same. The way I see the changes: Rangel for naughton is neither here nor there, nor is Amat and Fede in my opinion although he might not be as sharp fitness wise. Fer is unknown in our team apart from a cameo. Kingsley can't do much worse than tayls going forward, let's hope he can't keep it tidy at the back. Routs is a bit disappointing would rather start barrow. Maybe routs is better to start more experience and defensive work then bring barrow on. I think no Montero is madness, loves playing against Arsenal. Still think gomis is our best striker and deserved a bit more game time, although paloschi is creeping up there who I'm sure will come on at some point. Intriguing if nothing else.

Good summary. Routs does a lot of good defensive work. Good option to have is bringing Barrow on against a tiring defence if we need some goals.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

The Official Arsenal FC v Swansea City Match Thread on 19:34 - Mar 2 with 2459 views | perplex | Well we had a nice break before the Spurs game and were still shite, and now they seem to be resting players for this game, oh well we`ll lose by a few goals tonight and proberbly scrape a draw against Norwich.
The Official Arsenal FC v Swansea City Match Thread on 19:35 - Mar 2 with 2202 views | marchamjack | If we beat Norwich Saturday, tonight will be forgotten/accepted, if we don't win Saturday, tonight's selection looks like a massive massive error Hopefully it's the former

The Official Arsenal FC v Swansea City Match Thread on 19:40 - Mar 2 with 2122 views | Aquinas | Just a heads up - I am going to have an irrational (some may say rational) hatred for Gomis for the entire evening. So, if you are a Bafe fan boy, put me on ignore.
The Official Arsenal FC v Swansea City Match Thread on 19:42 - Mar 2 with 2100 views | blaine_scfc | Chucking Kingsley in the deep end with sharks circling. Sanchez and Ozil on the flanks I'm assuming, good luck to the lad, whatever happens tonight no one will be on his back.

The Official Arsenal FC v Swansea City Match Thread on 19:46 - Mar 2 with 2039 views | Aquinas | Good to see Fer and Amat get a chance though. Our only chance of winning is a Southampton away-esque performance. Get battered for the majority of the game then Fer to pop up with a screamer. Talking of screamers, Shelvey is captain of Newcastle tonight isn't he? 12 mil for him was a great price but only if we spent it wisely. As it looks now, he could potentially play a big part in our relegation and we are no better off without him.

The Official Arsenal FC v Swansea City Match Thread on 19:51 - Mar 2 with 1960 views | Ferryjack | Funny that Tim Sherwood was on Talksport at 5 & he said if I was the Swansea City Manager I would rest a good number tonight as the following 3 games are far more important. Wonder who picked the team as the manager is in hospital.
The Official Arsenal FC v Swansea City Match Thread on 19:51 - Mar 2 with 1946 views | trampie | Swans have one eye on Saturday judging by the team picked tonight, they don't want some of the boys playing 3 games in 6 days by the look of it.

The Official Arsenal FC v Swansea City Match Thread on 19:52 - Mar 2 with 1920 views | PozuelosSideys | We still havent learned. Gomis has done some ok work up front so far, but we just go backwards and Williams/Fabianski just boot it out long from the back and Arsenal eat it up and move forward. Pathetic.
