Bielsa on his way... 00:21 - Dec 20 with 19278 views | UplandsJack | So here goes... Been out tonight and have been told he will be confirmed as our new boss tomorrow or Monday at the latest. This update was given by same source who told me to bet my mortgage (which i regrettably didnt) on Monk taking over as caretaker before Laudrup had even been sacked. Fingers crossed this is true Well I bloody hope so anyway.... As after results this weekend we really need this sorted.... [Post edited 20 Dec 2015 0:22]

I can assure you I'd never ever deliberately mis inform anyone... I was merely passing on what was told to me by a source who has NEVER EVER been wrong before. Who knows this still isn't the case...? However, if it turns out to be incorrect information I sincerely apologise. I was merely passing on what I thought was good news to the majority!!! I will learn from this and keep any future information to myself...

Yeah I agree. I'm thinking more like work permit clearance, sorting out loose ends in Argentina before flying over here to complete deal. Fingers crossed anyway, I think he would get a reaction from the players and give us some ideas in the final third. His teams are known for their goalscoring.

I think if this happens, it will be quite a leap of faith for the board. There seem to be quite a few possibilities out there that don't quite hit the spot for one reason or another like Poyet, Bergkamp, Potter, etc and I don't even want to think about the likes of Pearson and Sherwood at our club but this one shows the board have aimed at the top when it comes to the priority that is coaching ability and track record even though there may be strings attached with his fiery temperament, etc. I'd like this one to happen as I'm sure he'll get us out of the mess we're in and if it's going to take a little while for the players to get on board with his philosophy and tactics, better now while we're in with a shout of escaping than in 3 months time when things could be a lot worse and time is running out.

Springtime in the Argentinian Pampas is a delight, we should really give him additional leave to remain at home for that after the new year festivities are over, and he'll need a bit of time think about the backroom staff he'd like to have around him and some time to analyse a few more videos of matches so he can ascertain what the best way is to secure our place in the Premier League, what with the riches on offer next season, plus the....

Maybe you've misinterpreted what I said because I think we do agree. I said we don't want to be trying to get used to a new manager's ways at the end of March when time and games are running out and we have a difficult run in.

But I'm 100% confident Huw is working hard to try and resolve it. Even the press and bookies haven't got a clue what's happening - love it! Not saying that we shouldn't worry about it but that run in looks slightly less daunting than it did at the start of the season Stoke - Always difficult but capable of getting some sort of result Chelsea - Who knows what they'll be like by then Newcastle - Good record there Leicester - Hopefully will have tailed off - surely can't still be playing then as they are now Liverpool - Don't look unbeatable West Ham - Will be a difficult trip as always - capable of getting something Man City - Hopefully playing for nothing - very inconsistent anyway I remember looking at the fixtures at the start and being worried now however I think if we do get the "right" manager then we are capable of picking up points in any/all of those games

I know you are looking on the positive side here but looking at it from the doom and gloom side... Stoke - We never win at Stoke. Chelsea - Got an excellent squad are in a false poition. The current champions. Newcastle - Yeah we do have a good record against these but might be a 'relegation 6 pointer'. Leicester - stuffing everyone at the moment and laced us at our place Liverpool - Not unbeatable but I can think of easier teams to play. West Ham - Last ever game at the Boleyn Ground. Will be emotional for them and up for it. Man City - Might need the points for the title.
