David Sullivan and his analysis of Charlie Austin, the mystery of the disappearing ligaments and the fact West Spam can't afford him!

So when are they signing him?

He's absolutely spot on about Charlie's performance at LR against them last season. Also this stuff about Charlie's knees cannot be understated - it may well limit what others are prepared to offer for the risk viewpoint alone, which means that either Charlie will have to stay with us OR he will realise that actually waiting 'til his contract runs out will enable him to negotiate shorter term deals or ones which will be based on his availability.

Still, reading that, if I were Charlie, I wouldn't want to play for Mr Porn...

Can we go out yet?

From a very selfish point of view, I hope this puts off anyone buying him.

What a rub that bloke is. The Sunday Sport of club chairmen.

And just exactly how much did you pay for Andy Carroll Mr Sullivan?

He's blaming the "Fair Play" rules but don't they only apply to Champions League clubs? I thought there was no FFP in the Premier League.

He was happy enough to sign Demba Ba.

Just looked that up - he signed to them on a pay as you play contract after his move to Stoke had fallen through on a failed medical.

Main thing to take from this is that Sullivan is a bit of a cock.

Alternatively, if that is what is putting other clubs off then he might also negotiate a better contract for himself. Still doesnt stop him being sold but will ensure he is rewarded while here

Surprised it will smash their budget re:FFP. Dont really understand the FFP rules, but given the money in the Prem and the nearly free stadium they are getting next year, you would have thought they could run to taking a risk with Charlie

I know he wont stay but wouldnt it be wonderful if he did. Sure Matty Philips is more crucial though

Two in two games, the price has gone up anyway Sullivan. By Saturday night it will be £20m. That's what teams were doing to us when we were desperate.

Sadly I reckon that he'll be gone soon for the £15m as he's back playing and scoring.

It sounds like Sullivan is seeking a fee for taking Austin off our hands.

Austin got 18 goals, and it was in a piss poor team. They don;t want to do another Andy Carroll, that's their problem.

Isn't their problem that they don't want to pay for anything? You know, football stadiums, players etc.

I can only imagine the reaction when West Ham sign Austin on the cheap in the last minute of the transfer window after Sullivan's comments scare away all the competition.

The couple of goals Charlie got from penalty's is far outweighed by the crappy service he got the whole season. I'll trade the couple of penalty goals for a decent midfield who could actually get him the ball more than once a half. He could have had 25 goals.

The "didn't even keep QPR up" line is a crock of sht. Can you imagine how far down we'd have been without him? Relegated by mid-September.

The rest of it though... Don't really see that he's said a lot wrong. We know there's doubts about his knee because he failed the medical at Hull, the financial fair play stuff he'll know what they've got left to spend (could be a bluff), they've been stung with Carroll before...

Might work out well for us, we'll end up with the Championship's best striker playing for us again.

Charlie's knee... on 14:11 - Aug 20 with 7040 viewsadhoc_qpr

Remember Charlie's 'limping' goal celebration against Hull, he clearly doesn't forgive or forget those who put him down or doubt him!

Not saying he wouldn't go to West Ham if that was the only club that came in for him, but i'm sure he'd make them issue a few conciliatory press statements about his health and pedigree!

Itis probably an attempt to drive down the Transfer fee, and he'll probably try and do the same to Charlie's contract too based on fitness. If we're gonna lose him, let us set the price, and once that's agreed, pay Charlie what he deserves.

If' it's to try and get the price down (not just for WH) and or maybe scare off other clubs, it's a dirty trick, I hope the club stays firm and Chaz stays at least till Jan.

Chaz won't get in to a slanging match but by the tweets from him and the wife, I bet he is well pissed.
