Everton match thread on 21:47 - Dec 15 by Cornish_oooRRRR | True about Everton. But a bit hard on our start. 2 deflected goals etc |
No - we didn't HAVE A GO. we contained...again. Contained well for 30 mins - but that's all.

Are you Chris Waddle? | | | |

To be fair - that's exactly what us, Leicester and Burnley are

Everton match thread on 21:47 - Dec 15 by richranger | Had over 20 shots in game, 4 on target. Everton have had 14 - 5 on target. |
Most of our shots on goal come from distance so the stats can be very mis leading.

fair enough karl...i cant stand harold and want him out yesterday. feels odd defending him for once.ive never done it before!. oh well, off to watch pointless and the mrs showing me pictures of cats in highly amusing situations on her i phone. praise the lord for the gift of laughter..

Class from Eto'o. | | | |
Everton match thread on 21:55 - Dec 15 with 1529 views | Antti_Heinola | Let's be fair lads, Everton are now a top half team, we can't be expected to compete with those teams, especially away from home. We scored, which is a huge bonus. Christ. Desperate, desperate stuff.

Not sure I can agree. We didnt play that badly, but we dont quite have the class that teams like Everton can call on. Grim from that point of view, but a massive improvement on the Swans game

I'm always wary of putting the boot in when i'm not watching games live (tbh i don't really do it when i watch Hibs/Scotland live) but if we had a game to change our fortunes away from home that was it, even at 2-0 down a point at least was available but Harry did nothing till we were 3 down. I think we should change him asap, someone like Dyche would keep us up no bother

Couldn't have been any worse than Swansea. I started watching this game at 3-0 and thought we played quite well but never really threatened to open them up. They created more clear chances in the last few minutes than i saw us create in the last half hour. We have a soft underbelly whilst creating very little at the other end. There in lies the reason we lose every away game. Oh well its only Arsenal next so fcuk all to worry about.
Everton match thread on 22:04 - Dec 15 with 1299 views | SuffolkHoop | Some of the most biased Sky commentary I can remember tonight. I think we were ok at times, all four goals touched an Rs player last before going in.
Everton match thread on 22:05 - Dec 15 with 1288 views | kropotkin41 | First away win of the season at Arsenal then? We weren't very good tonight, but it was an improvement - I know that's terrifying - we went and tried to attack. Selection was odd, but, Redknapp did make some statement about pretty much everyone getting a game over Christmas, so I think that what we have seen tonight was squad rotation. SWP'll probably be playing at The Emirates.

I am glad I have the same view as someone else on here, two deflected goals killed us tonight, party from that we weren't too bad.
Everton match thread on 22:15 - Dec 15 with 1186 views | GetMeRangers | with Everton winning and up to ten and arsenal next, it will mean we wont have played anyone away in the current bottom half... clutching at straws
