Time is of the essence 18:09 - Oct 28 with 1280 views | pooljimbo | Now Karl has made the decision and got rid of Riga, one of the reasons he cited was that we need someone to give us a chance to get us out of this mess. Having a look at the fixtures, we need at least 18-20 points from now until January to even give us a remote chance of staying up. 3 of those points almost certainly need to come from Saturday's home game against Ipswich. For this to happen we need Clark or whoever else, installed by tomorrow evening at the very latest, taking training on Thursday, and possibly even securing the services of a couple of loan players by Saturday. Karl has lost everybody, myself included and nothing he ever does now (except leaving) will ever redeem himself to me. But... if he gets his arse in gear and moves quick enough to allow the above to happen; no fcucking about with personal terms, back room staff, shooting trips etc. then we just might give ourselves a small glimmer of hope to get these points before January, and therefore give us a chance. If by this time next week, we're still arsing about scrimping for the odd penny here and there and we still have no manager installed then goodnight Vienna, hello League One. | |
