Wembley tickets - buying and selling on 21:50 - May 13 by hoopstilidie

Knew some f**king self-proclaimed superfan would pipe up.
You've no idea about people's circumstances, whether they have or haven't had STs in the past and how many, whether they've been members in the past or any other number of scenarios. You've no idea of what sort of things keep them from being ST holders or even members come to that.
As for them wanting to see their club in a prestigious final at Wembley, well they'd be some sort of idiot if they didn't want to see it wouldn't they?
"Somebody had to say it"?
Did they, did they really?
If you feel that way about it then why don't you stay off a thread that you've only an interest in sneering at and wind your neck in?
Sorry, but somebody had to say it. Didn't they?

Hi Hoops...i know what you are saying...but the membership question is a valid point. A membership is only £25.00. Now, the cheapest ticket for this game is only £52.00...so, if they cannot or don't think a £25.00 membership is a good investment or they can't afford it...but they can afford this game...it does sort of get your mind thinking.

Totally agree that the way the tickets are being sold is not the best way either.A season ticket holder could in effect get 4 tickets...which would mean three going to the game are either family or friends that might not be even QPR fans.

This sort of argue meant was always going to crop up...the minute Charlie Austin,s second goal hit the back of the net.

I hope that all fans on this messageboard will get a ticket...which I'm pretty sure most will. Pretty sure that ST holders and members will get extra tickets and then sell them on here to other fans...My only gripe will be...if you do...please sell at face value.

Thanks am out of the country, am going to try and get a relation to book online with my membership details. Will see what I can do otherwise will be scrabbling around next week or looking for wi fi in Europe though the r's website is likely to crash.

I can not afford the expense of a Season Tickets and train fares.

If I was fortunate enough to have a season ticket I would be absolutely GUTTED if I had to sit next to someone as ignorant as you.

I haven't had a season ticket since 2002 but have always done around 10-15 games a season as much as I would like to have a season ticket peoples circumstances change over the years, Kids, Marriage, New House, Job, etc
now I understand ST Come first and rightly so, but fans like myself who still make the trip to Wigan, Leicester etc do deserve a bit of slack from this Snobbery
me watching rangers lose to chesterfield in the rain doesn't make me more or less than a fan than anyone
Glory Hunter reminds me of a couple a few seasons back in our promotion season
I used to sit in S block ER right at the front did for about 8 games, didn't have a ST or Membership, when we played Leicester (1-0) I had to sit in T block as I couldn't get that seat, anyway the snobbery from this couple behind me was rife,
oh we aint seen you before, 1st game is it, etc I actually told them I hadn't seen them either in the 25 years I had been going and so what , every comment I made during the game they would pipe up with something condensing, it got to the point where I actually offered the worlds greatest QPR Fan outside to carry on said debate in to why I support QPR , he declined
anyway the point is Season tickets ,Members , pay on the gate, exiles, we are all fans who have contributed one way or another to this club, everyone has a story about why they support QPR , snobbery shouldn't come into it at all

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Very fair post.. Would just add that it may not be £25 for membership. It would be a strange thing if I didn't get my children memberships as well, so it's more like £65. And then you have to weigh the likelihood of getting to a super-game versus the investment. I used to be a member and will probably be so again. I've managed to get tickets for most big games and in 1982 I even pleaded to the box office before they sent me a £5 ticket!

I just want to say good luck to all genuine QPR fans and I really hope they get tickets. I have a friend who is going with his son and using the company's box - no real interest in QPR as they support another London club - shameful but the way it is I'm afraid. I was into the website at 10.11am and there were no Cat 1 left but thankfull to get Cat 2.
C'mon URs.

Excuse me for intruding on this shameless begging fest, but where, exactly, were you lot when we were $hit? And where were you all last Friday night when the team was playing the first leg away in Wigan? How come we suddenly have 47,000 loyal supporters, when we stuggle to get 13,000 to Loftus Road? I'm sorry, but someone's got to say it.

if you wanted to say this (and you are entitled to your view ) you should have started a thread .

Its f*cked this one up.

Well here's my official request for 2 tickets.
Not a ST or a member, occasional visitor to LR when I can (allowing for kids/ money/ other half/ work).
If they don't go to General sale, help will be gratefully acknowledged.

Je suis foo ked.
After having ST for 13 out of 15 last seasons - I even took the old stubs to the box office in a forlorn pitiful attempt to persuade them -
No season ticket this season and no membership.
Only been to 9 games - 8 homes and 1 away (Wigan last Friday) all tickets bought on general sale easily 'cos I'm only 5mins by pushbike from HQ.

How optimistic,is anyone else without tickets,at there being any left for general sale on the 19th?

'I'm 18 with a bullet.Got my finger on the trigger,I'm gonna pull it.." Love,Peace and Fook Chelski! More like 20StoneOfHoop now. Let's face it I'm not getting any thinner. Pass the cake and pies please.

To be honest I'm not optimistic at all, still live in hope that someone finds a couple of tickets surplus to requirements and I get the call up!!

I have tried ringing the Box office to persuade them but no joy either...

The funny thing is, I have already had the argument with the Mrs about going (money etc) and it doesn't look like I'm going to get there anyway..

Well, if it gets to phase 4, I'll be ok. A mate has got 3 membership cards and there's 5 of us and he's gonna wait until Phase 4 to get us all together. Just hope it reaches Phase 4, or the pub it is!

I'm a member and will buy 1 on Friday, then 1 for daughter (season ticket holder till going to Uni last year) on Saturday. If they're nowhere near each other will try and buy two together in Phase 4. Just want two together, any thoughts which blocks to go for? Will sell any spares for ticket price. Would people buy 1 ticket? Don't want to be lumbered with extras.

Aside from the fact that im not a season ticket holder, this whole system seems very odd.

Allowing season tickets holders first priority i understand and applaud, however giving people 2nd and 3rd rounds of tickets seems stupid. Surly it just means that the people who couldn't front a season ticket at the beginning of the season are going to lose out or have to pay to an extortionate amount for someone who wants to make a few quid.

It may sound bitter but i traveled away to crawley and wycombe on Tuesday nights for pre season as did many others and now get no chance of getting a seat for a play off final.

Poll: Who will the other play off

Where was I last Friday... I was staying in the Britannia Hotel in Standish just outside Wigan. Went to the game and many more home and away this year.
Didn't buy a membership this year as I didn't need it once last year to secure tickets for the games I could attend.

I had to give up my season ticket two years ago when my twin boys were born(finances). Hoping to get one again next year depending on the price.

Not that I have to justify but I'm not a glory hunter.

Cut me in half and I bleed blue and white.
