Good thread from August on 18:22 - Apr 21 by premierjack | They would get 8 million for Marshall 6 for caulker 5-6 for mutch 3 for noone Even 6-7 for the short fat guy |
We could offer £15m for the 3 of them, Marshall/Caulker/Mutch. Keep hold of Bony and get Michu fit and that wouldn't be a bad transfer window that.

Good idea. So that's £15 m for VT. Add on the £60 m parachute payments and he's got a fair chunk of his money back already. Doesn't look as if he'll lose out at all really. Where that would leave CC though is anyone's guess.

Some on there saying 25-30 million for Marshall, jesus f**king wept. As others have said, keepers have more chance to shine if they are subjected to more shots through a weak defence. Not saying that Marshall isn't a good keeper, but 30 mill?! Stick Marshall in another team and I bet he would look just as average as other keepers in the league. Remember in Vorm's first year he was touted for the best teams in Europe. Now look where he is. Marshall will go for 5 million max.

Take out the Europa League and we'd be at least 12 points better off than you.
Good thread from August on 21:13 - Apr 22 with 1525 views | ItchySphincter | I don't get it, I'm hearing it more and more from them lot and pundits alike. It goes along the lines of "if you took him out of the side they'd be in trouble". That's the fvckin point isn't it? If you take good players out of any side they'd struggle. It's like they really want to say "they're cr@p really" but they can't because in reality we're actually quite good, even when having a relatively poor season by our own recent high standards. Bizarre.

Which is a huge margin, no matter how you dress it up, see the league table at the end of the season. And indeed who is in the premier league, and who isn't.

Well of course. But that's what it's all about. In our first couple of seasons we were only about 9 points above the relegated Cubs (I didn't check back - just a guesstimate). And that was without the problems created by being in the Europa League. If Cardiff are relegated on, say, 34 points and the Swans end up in 12th or so on 40 points that will represent a fairly comfortable mid table position so 6 points is suddenly huge.
