I rated Luke Moore quite highly, got the odd goal ,linked up well with Michu ,very technical and seemed well liked by everyone.
Not sure why Laudrup got rid, of all the players to have as a back up Luke Moore was the best option for number 3 by a mile .
I loved Laudrup but thought he had a blind spot for strikers and treated Luke Moore very poorly .
A one year deal considering the european adventure would have been perfect, Bony,Michu and Moore with a young striker as number 4 would have been the best option . |  | | |

Stating the obvious that he was no Wayne Rooney , but the point is that a club like the swans ain't gonna have 2/3 top level strikers!
Moore would have been a decent cover option behind bony and michu , when you consider we would have needed to pay someone to basically be a bench guy the option of keeping Moore was IMO more appealing than any other player out there.
The guy was a good fit for us to say he was shite is just daft, we all know he wernt a world beater but he got us at least 4 pts from the bench last year,plus the assist to win at arsenal so he was personally responsible for 7 pts in that respect.
Good enough to do a job and IMO earned another contract with his performances ,laudrup got that one wrong but who knows if there were other reasons. | | | |

This is true but it unfortunately reflects the bigger picture. 18 months or so under Laudrup has gone some way to undoing the work of previous managements. Letting LM go should only have resulted in a more than adequate replacement, instead we got inadequate, and quite possibly more expensive. | |

People are looking for conspiracies AOTS these days. The question shouldn't be why we got rid of as substandard striker, it should be why we've failed to get anyone decent apart from Bony and, to a degree, Michu (although we all know he's best in midfield ... if not lately). |  |

I'm hypothesising. Why would anyone persist with Schecter when quite frankly he looked out of his depth in the U21 development squad?
