"Swansea boss Michael Laudrup confirmed that he met with Ince on Monday, and put the case to him to move to south-west Wales.

Given that I read in the press that most of the negative stories that have acted as unsettling for the club were planted by the board coupled with the non-transparant way of their behaviours and constant digs, I find it kinda hard to be on the boards side in this.
Especially as I felt the whole "for the better of the club" kind of lines lost their sincerity the first time they started pulling money out of the club to line pockets instead of using those funds to further improve the club.
No, I personally cannot feel any empathy for the board with their behaviour lately. It looks to me like a case of "getting undone by your own success" in what they have been doing in this season.
Just because I follow the club and what I felt it stood for, doesn't mean I have to like the board and their latest actions. "No-one is above the club", that should go for board members too, otherwise the distinction between a sugar-daddy and the board becomes trivial in actual effect.
