Makes good sense to do that though especially with the cash flow. Also should the transfer not work out we can move him on without ever paying for him in full.
Leffe is now brewed in the UK with a lower ABV% Little point trying it as it will bear no resemblance to the Belgian nectar.
Why is our lager beer so cra p compared to the rest of the world? Cheaper ingredients I guess.
First happened to me in 1980 when the Courage pub near my work sold German Hoffmeister. People would come to the pub just for that beer until one day when I took a sip of my pint and tasted something totally different. Now brewed in the UK said the Landlord and that was that.

Pre-season friendlies are meaningless right however any manager will tell you that they want to win every game. I suspect that our players were well up for the challenge of playing Spurs last week but not so much yesterday in Reading's soulless, empty stadium.
Watching the highlights I would say Reading's keeper made a couple of good saves and Frey missed what is likely to be the best chance he will receive all season. He had the time and space to put his book down, remove his sunglasses, get up from his lounger and nod the ball in.
