Not a particularly big part.

I imagine he'll be much the same at Cardiff - will have some good games and score a few goals but won't be available for every game and will go missing when the going gets tough.

Bowler is a decent player but he does carry a massive banner that reads Can’t Be Arsed.

I'm not in favour of football aggro in the slightest, but back in the days when likely lads were all togged up in Lacoste etc rather than sweat pants and hoodies, getting soaked in beer would not have gone down well.

Well, that was a proper game of football at last. Spain showed a different style to their play in the second half and stifled France out of it.

Hope Morata's OK for the final.

It's easy to make Kolli out of Willock if you think about it.

Obviously she's a very good player, but looks miles away from winning another slam. I guess the US open win has raised exceptions to an unrealistic level - she's no better than Katie Boulter or Harriet Dart, neither of whom she's beaten (lost twice to each).

I don't think his feet would touch the floor if the offer was above 6m.

Who will Hasselbaink be supporting on Wednesday?
at 16:45 7 Jul 2024

Who did Kevin Gallen support when he scored against QPR for Huddersfield?

Actually, didn't he then miss a penalty?

Right that's it. Let's get this fifth columnist Hasselbaink out of the England set up asap. The five pens v Switzerland were all part of the plan to lose on pens against the Dutch, clearly. Fiendish.

Don't you mean his mum? Or was it aunt? No, maybe it was his niece.

Probably not as Fox is reliably wrong on just about everything.

We joke about Norfolk, but in Iceland there's a dating app that tells you if you're related to your date.

Often, sure, but I didn't see anything lucky about this one. England took five faultless penalties and saved one, that's not luck. And 1-1 seemed a fair score after extra time even if England were marginallly the better side.

All the stuff about team selection and subs etc is just opinion and speculation as we can never know what would have happened had things been done differently.

Not arguing it wasn't another sluggish performance though. Watching England in this tournament has been a joyless chore so far save for the results.

Five perfect pens and Southgate marches on. Never in doubt!

I don't have any particular views on Miliband but you're castigating him for his physiology, which obviously no one can help, and the views his father held. And his vested interests - what would they be? In the context of energy, vested interests are the very powerful and extraordinarily well-funded fossil fuel companies.

We've all been there. Some of us perhaps longer ago than others.

We're still out and it's getting late. There's someone we know we can go home with, but we're hanging on for someone better, something fresher. But now it's later and someone better hasn't turned up, and the fallback at some point is going to discover their pride and leave without you.

Not that strange. It's all about where you get your information. The fossil fuel industry is very active in spreading its message and in a post-truth world there are many gullible ears to listen.
