Coleman after a valuable away point and decent performance ''I don’t why we can’t win away from home, but it is absolutely doing my head in to be honest.'' Great -shows his honesty and desire to win! Up the dale |

Several reasons for lack of 90 minutes where quite simply out of Dale's control. The ET yesterday might work for us ultimately, if they get rest/work mix right this week. |

He brought great success but was always a bit of a yosser (did I spell that right). Even with the success he became tiresome at times. Flicker was quality. Daggers, Perkins,Done and Wiseman continue to be model pro's, deserve their success. |

I would say it is harsh though comments on Lillis and GRimes are honest (and correct), we did not reach the standard we achieved against Burnley and when they went down to 10 we lost our composure, pushing for a quick goal. On a positive ( and I did not believe it would be so) Cavanagh is an improvement on Jonah, the defence to a man is better (centre back Edwards looks great) , Dele holds the ball up well, Tutte is vastly improved, Kennedy solid as always,George is a grafter (as are all Colemans additions), Craney and Putteril get better every game, new forward looked sharp and only disappointments to date have been Lillis flapping and Grimes only occasionally matching the graft of every one else and today disappointed in his main strength finishing. |

sadly true. Thank God the new squad has been put together by Coleman and not them. Having seen the home friendlies and Barnsley I am feeling more optimistic about the season ahead. I had started to fear we would be in danger of struggling to survive, given the damage done to squad by Hilly & the timing of his exit and the Eyre disatrous era; meanin a mass of new players would be needed and even if decent (a big ask at this level) they would need a lot of time to bed in. However they not only look decent , have bedded in, show plenty of spirit and some decent a bility. At present the only worry is a major surprise-Lillis who seems to have lost all the composure he had when he was here on loan. He has the ability and a little more experience so it is hard to understand-just hope a few games sort him out. |

I have just checked in and registered for this site because I cannot cope with the new 'official' site. Maybe me, or maybe my pc but it is awful. It does retain one feature of the old site, being out of date-but in most other ways itis worse. |
