I suppose that he could fall into the category of “broken toy” inasmuch as he had a stellar Academy/Youth career and then had a couple of clubs afterwards. If I’ve read the stats right he hasn’t played since January either.
All the best to the lad though. A move back to the northwest might be just be the tonic he needs. |

Looking at the squad now I’d say we need two more defenders, a like for like replacement for Adam Clayton and a goalkeeper.
Not sure if BJ will be dabbling in the loan market or not because that sort of player doesn’t normally become available until the end of July/early August. |

I had a gut feeling that he would be the least likely of the out of contract players to re-sign if only because of the allegedly high wage he was on.
I felt a bit sorry for him at times. He’d missed most of the previous season at Doncaster before he signed and was recruited to play on the left hand side of a back three before a change of manager inside a month saw the system scrapped.
He looked a decent player but at National League level.
I’m sure that BJ has a replacement in mind. |

Harrison McGahey has left Oldham for Welsh team The New Saints who will be playing in the Champions League next season.
Making way for Stott on the payroll. Shame as Stott would have been good for Dale but presumably wages will be the factor. |

As I mentioned on another thread Galloway may have lost a fair bit of support with the move of Falinge and Spotland to Heywood North.
Paul Waugh took the trouble to go to the recent Meet The Board evening and ask a question; in the absence of the likes of David Tully this time any Dale fans who are in the Rochdale constituency should be using their votes and backing Waugh in my opinion. |

Being realistic it’s a matter of when he goes not if he does.
Like you say though let’s not settle for an “undisclosed fee” which turns out to be around £300k.

For some reason Heywood AODS staged several productions at the Hippodrome in the 1960s so it could have been them? Perhaps Heywood Civic Hall was being built?
I definitely saw them do “The King and I” during this period. |
