I just think you can't argue with the record and, despite the luck, I'd say we were the better team in the last two games. I'm not sure why we go off the boil after half time but we're in the final, so he's doing something right.
I genuinely hope we win it for him and he goes off and does something else, assured at having legend status. |

Southgate's record is pretty good to be fair. Semi-final in 2018 was better than anyone else has done in a while and the final in the Euros, only to lose because three of our players fannied about during the penalty shootout. And another semi now. Can't really argue with that.
And maybe he's not some amazing tactician or leader of men or whatever but if he's not, he's lucky and I'll take that as an attribute right now. |

True, the standard has been low but that should just make him shine. Look at Saka in the first half in that last game. He was terrorising his defender. Eze needs to be doing that. |

If I'm a chairman with 60 mill to spend, Eze's showing at this tournament isn't convincing me to part with that sort of cash.
He's had over an hour against tired players and done very little of note. He's not been bad (apart from in his first match where he was pretty gash) but he's not suggested a 60m price tag. |

IIRC we were playing Hudds away and we had a corner and Macca told Dichio to get out of the way and scored a header for us.
Foot proper off the gas this half. If we had played like this in the first half, the knives would be out for Gareth. |

Prince at his prime would be an amazing show. I'm not a huge fan of him in terms of his records but when you see him live, the talent was undeniable. |
