And yet we brought in Downes, Piroe, Ntcham the following season Darling and Wood, the season after that Tymon, Key and Ginnelly but we haven't been willing or able to keep hold of some of those as we try and get the wage structure and finance right while making sure we don't go into a spiral of decline down the division. Hopefully we can now start build to the future.
I'm not going to mention some of the players who have been given little chance after showing some intial promise as we still have some still with us or the unfortunate players who have struggled with poor injury records before and during their time with us and the players who promised more but have not been up to scratch.
