I am getting really frustrated at the number of people who dont even respond to quote requests for some flagging and general garden work I want doing.

Its really not personal its just that everyone wants things doing in summer. Im a tradesman myself so I can tell you how busy it is. Incidentally I had a groundworker in for a quote (back garden needs flagging) last month and he is that busy he cant do the job till March. I would get somebody in for a quote in January then it will be done for next summer.
