Ranger 10:03 - Nov 6 with 1235 views | Lala | How did he look folks when he came on ? I still don't think we've been able to form a solid opinion of him with his lack of play, and do we know what that lack of game time was all about ?

I thought that may be the case Mike. Really SATW ? I know when he did play early doors he looked like he could make a difference. I kind of want this signing to work, both for him and the club. [Post edited 6 Nov 2014 14:17]

I didn't think he looked fit last night, even though he had little chance to make his presence felt in the Fulham half. He was better at Reading, in my view. I do think he has probably the best first touch of anyone in our squad and he is better in the air than Miller. I would like to see him given more time on the pitch, alongside Miller, and feeding off ammunition supplied by Murphy, who was very impressive, and the new Belgian winger.

Lala, Ranger. 1. He needs to tuck his shirt in. 2. Someone needs to give him a pair of shorts that fit him. 3. Should be our official penalty taker. 4. I think he is a handful for opposition defences. 5. If given the service, I think he could score goals. 6. I think the Pool fans could have a lot of fun with him. 7. I like him. 8. I think the twin forwards Miller and Ranger could definitely score goals when Pool play an attacking formation. Were Pool playing 1-3-5-2 formation in the 1st half last night v Fulham? Obviously, by the time Nile replaced Miller in the 2nd half, Clark had reverted to 1-4-4-1 or even 1-5-3-1 - for obvious reasons. Nile was up front on his own, did well, but no service. ie Pool were on the back foot, defending. 9. For me, it is for Nile Ranger. 10. Nile needs to be a bit careful with his Twitter posts. Mr Riga did not like them! [Post edited 6 Nov 2014 19:05]

I thought he looked off the pace, but by the time he came on we had ceased to be an attacking force, so it's a bit hard to be overly critical. He may have suffered by comparison with Miller, who had an excellent game.

Listening to the match it appeared to me like we may be turning around that corner...
