Well this is gonna be different for us! Dale take on a host of new clubs in what is going to be some effort in terms of travel for the 23/24 season!
A new division and a lot of new grounds to go to, but just how many miles would going to every game next season clock up? Well, in round trips, you’d chalk up a staggering 7,438 miles. I mean we knew it was going to be quite a southern based league but Jesus Christ. You’d end up doing 1,708 miles more than last season!
Last season we had 6 trips over 200 miles away, next season, we have 12!
One good thing is that we have the ‘409 Derby’ back in our shortest trip of the season over to Oldham Athletic and we get a nice coastal trip over to Fylde. No doubt the footballing gods will put that trip on a Tuesday in the middle of winter!
So, our National League tours starts here, get the Friends and Family rail tickets renewed!
