The 29-year-old has stopped short of submitting a formal transfer request, but is understood to have made his feelings clear to the club that he'd like to talk to Coventry City, who, having had two bids knocked back already, have returned with another offer.

Sheffield United are reportedly ready to make a move for Swansea City defender Harry Darling before the end of the window.

According to the Sheffield Star, the centre-back is currently on the club's list of targets this winter, with the Blades eager to add some more defensive depth to their squad heading into the second half of the season.

Coleman is partly to blame. He backed Watson last season when the fans wanted him gone. We then had another poor summer transfer window. The January transfer window has been shambolic. We have failed to appoint a sporting director. All of that is his responsibility.
