Second allocation of tickets for Plymouth away almost sold out Wednesday, 27th Sep 2023 15:03 by Liam Walters The Swans gave secured a further five hundred tickets for the away game at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday October 7th, Kick off 3pm. The club had already sold an initial allocation of 1,150. The game comes before yet another international break for all Championship clubs. Before that the Swans take on Millwall away this Saturday and then Norwich City at the Swansea.Com Stadium the week after. Numerous players have gone to Plymouth on loan in recent seasons. Morgan Whittaker being one player who eventually joined Argyle for a fee this summer. The unsettled twenty two year old has found his scoring form again with four goals in eight games, he has also weighed in with three assists. Plymouth have disclosed the initial fee they paid Swansea as £1,150,000 with add ons and a hefty sell on clause in favour of the Swans. There has always been a rivalry between the Welsh sides and clubs from the south west so this game will be one which will be looked forward to by supporters of both sides. This will be the first league meeting between Swansea City and Plymouth Argyle in nearly fourteen years.
