York Boss Coming With No Fear Monday, 24th Aug 2015 18:36 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews) The Swans will entertain a York side tomorrow night that will arrive in a confident mood for the second round of the Capital One Cup. The League two side will be looking to create a cup upset against us knowing that technically we were the highest seeded team in the competition at this stage. We of course will need to be on our guard against that upset but even with Garry Monk likely to field a very much changed side we are expected to be far too strong for a team just six places off the bottom of the football league. But that does not stop York manager Russ Wilcox dreaming of a cup upset and he says he will bring his side to Swansea with no fear of the opposition that they are playing He said: "Shocks do happen and I've experienced both sides. We will go there with no fear and the surroundings should inspire us. "I'm really looking forward to standing in the technical area at a Premier League ground and everybody expects us to get turned over, so we'll be under no pressure. But there are always one or two upsets, so let's make it York's turn. "I'm not sure what team they'll be putting out but, whoever plays, it will be a strong one and it's really exciting to be playing against a Premier League team. Like at Exeter, with Paul Tisdale, you also know how a Swansea team will play. "They've had the same philosophy for a long time now and they will get the ball on the floor and pass it. Their possession stats are usually 65 per cent in the Premier League so we know we are going to have to do a lot of good work without the ball. "It might be similar to the Newcastle pre-season game for us and we might have to sit deep and play on the counter attack again, which means letting their centre backs have the ball, but pressing them when they come over the halfway line."
