So we're 2nd of the British clubs, with Man Utd 3rd.
I'm a bit surprised we're that high up - surely the top 6 clubs should be doing better in identifying youth talent and then training them. |  |

We’re so high because they seem think we’ve received £31.1m meaning they have assigned £16.1m to Ben Davies going to Spurs.
In reality it’s £15m + Sigurdsson. Arguably, given Palace’s bid, the market rate for Sigurdsson at the time was £8m ish at the time so they’ve inflated our figures. | | | |

Tbh - Its still only 2 meaningful players produced since 2005. Ben and Joey. (Plus jazz is still around at the minute). Interestingly both these players pre date our recent significant multi million pound investment in the Academy. And young Grimes came from the same old system as ben and joey - strange.... |  |
