Do you?

My current favourites are those from the delicious Talgarth Bakery. Where do you get yours from?

I love a custard slice, but even the best example isn't going to make me totally satisfied until we reach 38 points.

Greggs aren't bad, but they are overpriced and a tad gelatinous

Proper bakers usually do a decent job of a custard slice but I cannot do Supermarket cakes at all. Tanygroes St bakery in Port Talbot is my fav with Dicky Donuts on Bridgend Ind Est a close second.

What about a corned beef slice/ plate pasty? I loves them

Life is an adventure or nothing at all.

sorry for the off custardness of my Eynons pasty post.

They do particularly nice custard slices in Maison Blanc. Is there one in Swansea?

I also used to enjoy an egg custard tart from M&S which my Gran used to get in on a Sunday sometimes (her ultimate heaven was M&S food halls). I work in Notting Hill and there is a great Portugese Bakery called Cafe Lisboa renowned for their custard tarts called Natas. Bit rich and sweet to have more than a tiny bit, but lovely none the less. Can't beat a bit of Ambrosia (low fat of course - us ladies need to be careful) with a crumble on a Sunday.
