Swansea target Ferrie Bodde will set the club back £70,000 if they wish to pursue his signature.

That is the price being touted around by his agent which moves one of the interested clubs - Aberdeen - out of the running.

Bodde himself said that a move to the North of Scotland was of interest to him but that deal now appears to be dead in the water.

Swansea have close links with Boode's club - ADO Den Haag - through their non executive director and shareholder John Van Zweden whilst Bodee has also attracted interest from PSV Eindhoven who knocked Arsenal out of this season's Champions League.

Ferrie's agent told the Aberdeen Press & Journal "The clubs have stopped negotiating because Aberdeen have said they cannot afford to pay any money for him. "Ferrie is disappointed nothing is going to happen with Aberdeen now, but that is life. The situation is for the two clubs to resolve, but as far as I am concerned, the deal is now off. "There are a lot of other clubs interested in Ferrie and I do not know where he will end up instead. But Swansea are very keen and he might end up going there later this week. We shall see."

Whilst the player himself added "I wanted to go to Aberdeen, but knew Den Haag would want a transfer fee for me and I can understand why, as I still have two years left on my contract."

Swansea play Den Haag in a pre season friendly on 29th July as part of a four match Dutch tour.
