Pearson Needs To Be Brave

Nigel Pearson needs to be brave on Sunday.

When Nigel Pearson arrived he was initially a breath of fresh air around ST Mary's as he changed the team and gave some of the youth their chance, sadly it all went a little skew with for a while and his critics would say that the manager relied on players who had consistently underperformed both before and after his arrival and we have paid dearly for that mistake.

However against West Brom he got it right, both with the starting line up and with his substitutions, the changes were bold and paid dividends as Adam Lallana scored a vital goal that gives Saints more than a fighting chance on the last day, hopefully Pearson has realised that now and will put the emphasise on players hungry for their chance and not those that have failed us week in week out.

I dont expect Lallana to start however he should be on the bench where we should go for an attacking line up, it could be that in the final minutes we have to go hell for leather and we need players with an eye fog goal.
