Dale captain, Player of the Season and record appearance maker Gary Jones has been offered a new deal to remain at Spotland, as has young midfielder Matty Done.

Jonah who turns 34 next month has been offered a new deal to continue his record breaking run at Spotland after what has been his most successful year at the club so far. 

However, if the local rumour mill is to be believed, his successful season has attracted the interest of other suitors, and the length of the contract offered could prove to be a sticking point for Dale.

Matty Done has also been offered an extension to his stay at Dale. Just twelve months after being released by a relegation threatened League Two side, he has made himself a vital part of the Dale team in recent weeks, adding a number of goals along the way.
