The club have announced that a letter of intent to purchase the club has been signed by US investors World Soccer Holdings LLC.

The news came out a couple of hours before the Fans Forum from the club following a Guardian article that state American investors were incoming.

The deal isn't done yet though and there's an EGM on Thursday 7th March for shareholders to vote in favour of a proposal to allow 9,000,000 new A shares to be issued so that a new owner can come in and take 90% of the football club, a model that has been been in place at RAFC.
