Refwatch: Rochdale v Dagenham & Redbridge Wednesday, 31st Jan 2024 10:01 by TVOS Dagenham’s first visit to Spotland since the same weekend ten years ago will be refereed by SAM MULHALL. Originally from Northwich, but now based in London, where he works for the FA as a Learning and Development Officer and is also the Anti-Doping Co-ordinator, Sam is the holder of a Postgraduate Certificate in Sports Coaching from Worcester University. He also holds a UEFA Certificate in Football Management from the University of Lausanne. Away from the lecture room, Mr Mulhall is in his second season refereeing in the National League and this will be his first Dale game. However, he did take charge of Dagenham’s 3-2 defeat at Aldershot at the end of September, where they finished the match with ten men after a red card for Sam Ling. More recently, Sam refereed the recent thrilling 4-4 draw between Boreham Wood and Eastleigh. His nine National League appointments have yielded 51 yellow cards, as well as that red card at Aldershot.
