Keith Hill has signed second player in as many days with the return to the club of Scott Hogan, who signs a two year deal at Spotland.

Hogan was a former trainee at the club before a spell which has taken him to Halifax and Hyde before returning to Rochdale. Dale boss Keith Hill was very impressed with his transfer dealing to the extent that he described this as something of a "marquee signing".

Up until recently, Hogan had been on the verge of a switch to Birmingham, and had been training with their development squad, but a move broke down for reasons unknown.
