Great interview with Hilly. Shows his passion and slates the footballing world interrupting players development during transfer windows. Specifically talking about Hogan and says he wasn't rested his head was all over the place he had been pulled from pillar to post by the people who are supposed to be looking out for him. All along all Scotty wanted was to be playing for Rochdale. First time he's seen him smile this week since the transfer window opened.

Go and support City then if you can't get your head around how this club operates.

Me thinks you must be running the marketing department at Spotland - advising supporters to go and spend their money at other clubs.

Sitting on here complaining about the club accepting a bid of nearly a million pounds is idiotic.

1. we still have the asset
2. the asset is producing the goods (for us not some other team)
3 Because he is producing the goods his value is presumably increasing
4. 750K is not 'nearly a million pounds'

If there are any openings in the marketing department there are plenty of budding candidates on this site.

Agreed. So what do we do? What did we do to retain some of the cup crowds?

What are we doing differently for the half-term games for example? Maybe we'll find out this week.

"We're looking to play it (Burton) on the 18th February ... we looked for the best date and specifically chose that date because it's half term and we are trying to maximise the attendance."

That's great to read. Presumably as it was quite a while ago since the significance of the date was recognised, different departments have since been working towards the common goal. Not got Daleplayer anymore, but as posted on here before, it's a case of just waiting to hear what they've planned to do.

I'm struggling to understand why you're aiming this at me? I'm not the one complaining that the club accepted the offer

"pulled from pillar to post by the people who are supposed to be looking out for him"
This part certainly makes me think that Hill suspects his agent might have been trying to lure him away.

I would be absolutely amazed if his agent wasn't.

An agent gets a percentage of any transfer. The more transfers the better.

It aint Jerry McGuire out there.
