Malone's first QPR game - Referee Sunday, 27th Dec 2015 14:43 by Clive Whittingham Brendan Malone, who referees mostly in the bottom two divisions, get the first QPR appointment of his career as Huddersfield visit Loftus Road on Monday. Referee >>> Brendan Malone (Wiltshire) Despite being on the League list since 2010, this is his first ever QPR appointment. Assistants >>> Stuart Butler (Kent) and Carl Brook (East Sussex) Fourth Official >>> Elliott Kaye (Essex) HistoryNo previous QPR appointments. StatsMalone has refereed the majority of his 17 matches this season in League Two, with just two Championship appointments so far in which he’s shown six yellows and one red. Oddly, one of those two games featured Huddersfield also — their 2-2 draw at Reading in November. Overall he’s booked 38 and sent three off in those 17 outings. Last season, again spent mostly in the bottom two divisions with just five Championship outings, he carded just 60 players in 31 games with five red cards in addition to that. Those meagre totals were bolstered substantially by eight yellows and a red at Plymouth v Southend, but he showed no cards at all on six occasions. Other AppointmentsPremier League >>> Martin Atkinson gets the big one between Man Utd and Chelsea, Craig Pawson is trusted with Leicester v Man City on Tuesday. Championship >>> Jon Moss was in eccentric form at Southampton v Arsenal yesterday, and Bolton v Blackburn won’t be a walk in the park for him tomorrow. League Two >>> Gavin Ward has Portsmouth v Luton. Pictures — Action Images Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
