Having looked at McIntyre's article on Birch, I noticed the link at the bottom

David Bardsley has thrown his hat into the ring, and those of us who listen to the podcast will be fully aware at how keen he is to introduce his youngsters to QPR and has blue and white running through his veins.
"And Bardsley, who now lives in Florida where he runs his own academy for young players, says he would relocate back to the UK if offered a role at Loftus Road.
He said: “I’d be interested, definitely. QPR is my passion and I’ve always said the only reason I’d move back to England would be for them."
Has the experience.....Orlando FC QPR Academy USA was set up by him in 2006. It has no formal ties to his ex-club but is inspired by it — players at all levels of the academy wear Rangers kits.
Surely the right sort?????

If Stephen Gallen wants it they should give it to him
1) He's a great candidate
2) He needs progression
3) He has spoken about wanting to progress, and
4) Like Bircham, if he can't progress here he'll do it elsewhere, maybe immediately if snubbed. |  |

Gallen has done a fine job, and I think what we need to ensure is that whoever takes the job sees it as a long term thing. Gallen obviously does. As would Bard I'm sure. |  |
