It was so clearly a fix....we had a Palace player on loan who was allowed to play. The goalie just stood & watched Kulscar's pathetic shot go past him. we weren't capable of beating anyone on that division 6-0! |

The Leeds game was really good but that Palace one was all sorts of crazy. I was there that day (think I was about 15) and just watched the highlights back. Totally forgot about that Chinese lad getting sent off for pushing the ref and all of those balloons on the pitch! I clearly remember Palace fans putting up a massive sign stating 'A iceberg sank the Titanic, don't let a Goldberg sink the Palace' they must been up all night thinking of that one  |  | | |

A week after that awful Port facking Vale loss,and a lot of us thought we were on the way down after the game.
