There's a lot in JET's game that reminds me of Taraabt - the way that defenders just seem to bounce off him, the close control, the cheeky chip before the goal at 2.12......
BUT he's coached by Chris Ramsey. So I'm going to Brentford to give him a 90 minute booing. Throwing objects in extra time. That'll show him. Coming over all skillful and scoring goals.
It's his composure in possession I am most impressed with. He never panics, never rushes a pass, when he has the ball and a passing lane quickly gets closed off he just retains possession and waits for something else. He has the same calm head in front of goal which makes him so clinical.
Basically he's the exact opposite of Patrick Agyemang.
I love Austin, but this guy is by far and away better suited to that lone striker role. 1:08-1:16 is textbook Fair play to him, I watched him early on, the cup game is quite prevalent, when he was out wide and he looked no more than okay.

it's what defenders hate most; an attacking player who runs straight at them without passing the ball. modern footballers are seemingly taught to expect the opposition to just pass around them, as opposed to challenge them.
It's not what you've got; it's where you stick it.
Glad we agree about the music. I thought it was just being such an old git and all. He reminds me of Ray Jones. He's a lot quicker than he looks. Very near the end of the vid he goes past three or four guys and yet just seems to be loping along.
Big feet for a quick man Quick feet for a big man Excellent work rate Tough, skilful, strong Excellent at defending set pieces Excellent at ball retention Excellent use of the ball
Team mates appear to love him.
He reminds me a bit of Furlong but he has something in his feet akin to Wegerle.
A very good player and mix. Looks settled. Probably all he needs to thrive.
Still only 24!!!
Alongside Charlie we could rip the league up.
Chery behind those two and we could be very dangerous.
Very encouraging stuff from JET. Fingers crossed that it's not just a flash in the pan.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."
Sounds very much like JET wrote and performed his own music for that.
Cost cutting measure - texted directly from TF, who came upon the idea in a dream while crossing China's Banyang mountain range by train: 'Plyers to compose own music for klips now on. Lets get seerious about triming fat. #FFP'
Clint has already scheduled a moody rendition of Fly Me To The Moon for his upcoming montage of timely headers.

Up front he's a different animal though.
I think Austin has come on leaps and bounds as a lone striker, but he's better suited if we play to feet. He's good at stopping the ball and laying off simple passes to the wing to then turn and get in the box. But if we're being far more direct that JET's extra height and strength give him a massive advantage
