"City Expect To Win" Says Toure Monday, 5th May 2014 09:49 Yaya Toure has said that City now expect to win the league. Saturday's win against Everton have lifted City to the top of the table on goal difference. City are now nine goals better off than second placed Liverpool. Toure feels with being top and only two games remaining City should be expected to lift the trophy. He told Four Four Two. "We definitely expect to win it — as a team at the top you always expect to win," Toure said. City have two home matches left against Aston Villa and West Ham on the final day of the season and Toure wants to avoid a repeat of the 2011-12 season, when City clinched the title thanks to a last-gasp Sergio Aguero goal against QPR on the final day. "We have two games at the Etihad (Stadium) and the most important thing is to do the job and win those games," Toure said.
