Guillem Bauza believes that the supporters are yet to see the best of him as a player

The Swansea City striker is determined to put the disappointments of last season behind him and impress Roberto over the summer as a persuasion for a chance next season.

Bauza ended the League One title winning season with a flurry of goals - including the two that won the Swans promotion at Gillingham whilst a hat-trick followed shortly after against Leyton Orient.  Another flurry in pre-season and he was in the side on the opening day at Charlton before falling down the pecking order as the Swans impressed at Championship level.

But that has not dented the ambitions of a man who is also studying for his doctors exams as he said "I'll be spending a few extra weeks in Swansea getting into my books.

"But once I've done my exams it won't be a case of putting my feet up.  I'll be working hard on my fitness back home in Mallorca to make sure I'm up tp speed when I return.

"My football comes first.  I'll be running every day and working hard to ensure I return fit.   I believe I can score goals at this level and I aim to prove it next season.  The fans haven't seen the best of me yet."
