Kris O'Leary says he will be gutted if he has to leave the Liberty Stadium this summer

The long serving Swansea City man has been at the club for all of his professional career - bar a short spell on loan at Cheltenham a couple of years back.

But with him out of contract this summer - and just one appearance behind him last season - he is the subject of speculation that Roberto will show him the door although there is another school of belief that he could have a coaching role developing at the club.

O'Learu himself has not given up on a new deal and said "I've never wanted to leave.  I've been here since I left school in 1994 and the club has been a massive part of my life.

"But the decision is out of my hands - if the gaffer doesn't offer me a new contract, I'll have to leave.

"Of course I'll be upset if I'm not offered a new contract.  I'll be absolutely gutted.

"But if I have to go I'll just have to find another club because I've got a wide and two little kids to support.

"I know I've got something to offer.  My chance might come next season that's why I'd happily sign a new contract with Swansea."
